At the risk of doing exactly what you have just suggested, People Like Us was better (although I enjoy them all) even if now slightly unfortunate to have starred Chris Langham

    Cortese

haha, that was exactly my thought shame he hasn't enjoyed the last 2-3 years. it almost like he was a plant. not that cortese needs any more love with plenty coming from white, 'we are in the presence of greatness' - what??!!??
  3. Didn't Rio Ferdinand take his kids to Bultins?? But don't let that stop you telling everyone on some two-bit internet forum what a high roller you are. Truly, your lifestyle is an inspiration. Thanks for sharing
  4. I think he is excellent and have done since the job he did at Watford, while they were in a total mess ownership wise

By the way, this is totally correct. We played brilliant stuff in flashes, unfortunately marked my huge moments of naivety, which is unsurprising given the team he was forced to play as goals like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlYJ7sC1Z9U- show, in a game we ended up losing 4-1! we also battered newly relegated Birmingham in 2 early season games and were unfortunate to only get one win against them its funny, if you listen/read interviews with JP about how he wanted us to play, it wasn't a million miles away from the football people love Poch for. Even Kelvin said in his book, in a lot of ways Jan was 10 years ahead of his time in England Would I want him as our manager now? No, but that doesn't mean we didn't play some good stuff (at times) while we was here, but his team was appalling
  6. what, and make sure the other group (if there is one), know they are now the only bid in town? yeah, cant see why that would work against KL's interests
  7. why have a linesman at all in that case? if he is just going to be ignored from now on anyway
  8. why not have robot players too? then everything about the game would be perfect with no possible chance of human mistakes. There would be no goals as no defenders would ever make mistakes and robot keepers would always make perfect saves. It would be dull but at least it wouldn't have any errors on anyones part Im against it, I can see all the reason for it and understand them, but errors/mistakes on everyones part is and should be a part of the game although, I will admit, I was against goal line tech to, and that has been very good. so Im certainly not claiming to be right here, just my opinion
  9. I love this one. I just wish it was longer!
  10. Yep, I had a family member who worked at Watford, where they had a sort of open office where basically all the staff worked from Whenever he came in to do bits for the club, he would say hello to everyone, knew all their names, from the very top people to the bottom He would have time for any of them and was apparently just in general a great guy to be around
  11. Eddie?
  12. pretty much how I feel, and why its so hard to actually walk away Love the 90 mins, but hate just about everything else to do with football these days
  13. oh ****! pretty annoyed i renewed now. oh well, thanks for the heads up anyway and i also appreciate you starting a new thread on this. a little surprised people deciding we've had a poor windows before even the end of july hasnt been touched on before now
  14. My little girl loves her peppa pig shirt. it would look terrible on me, but she loves her

  16. this write up from a couple of days ago is promising - https://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2016/jun/02/jurgen-klinsmann-usa-coach-copa-america I especially liked the last paragraph! would be a real let down after some of the people that have been linked
  17. and with the guys negotiating skills he has shown so far, that might be that for the budget #rinsed
  18. exactly right. and the guy who masterminded those pathetic results against a dreadful everton team is now your manager. good luck! oh, and thanks for the £5m. Sounds like a top class negotiatior your new guy
  19. This is exactly right. Samuel is an obese cretin whose 'articles' display everything that is wrong with football reporting in this country the guy is a saints trophy win away from a heart attack and is another reason, as well as the obvious, it cant come soon enough
  20. sorry if i have misunderstood your post, but if the ball doesnt have to go forward, cant the one player now just roll it back to his team mate around the centre circle? no having to touch it twice
  21. does that mean we could start seeing 1 player taking kick off himself?
  22. for me this is as much a chance to say thankyou to the players that finally put some pride back into saints after years of dross, as it is a send off for Kelvin you also only have to look at what just about every player who played with him here is saying to see how important he has been behind the scenes they were my favourite seasons following saints and for as little as £15 (going to charity ffs!) I cant wait to thank them all for it
  23. haha, thanks! to be fair, it wasn't a wholly serious suggestion
  24. makes you wonder if that was the plan all along. make the fans feel good about themselves, makes the board look better in eyes of fans, but still get the (true) increase they wanted all along
  25. youve got the wrong season, and division
