Well here is the first trailer. So place your bets on who you think the villain is from this!
-
Yeah I love those 3 films and they were definitely made to be seen as a trilogy. The Search for Spock, has some great Star Trek moments in it. "How can you be deaf with ears like that!?" I love all the original series films though, even the first one. The director's cut of Star Trek The Motion Picture sorts out a lot of that films flaws.

Their extra day of rest couldn't of hurt them either, but they do look a good side this year. We should of beat them though, I am still annoyed we didn't
-
Hopefully Saints can have a repeat performance of 2003
-
Yeah I know Kirk said it, I just meant no one could top Ricardo Montalban's performance as "KHAAAaaaaaannnnnnn!!!!". I agreed definitely a classic moment of motion picture history

Delta Vega in "Where no Man Has Gone Before" was a lithium cracking station near the edge of the galaxy. Delta Vega n the 2009 Movie was meant to be a a small planetoid near Vulcan. I say planetoid not a moon because as all original series Star Trek fans know, Vulcan has NO moon! It was named by the writers Delta Vega as a tip of the hat the original series second pilot "Where no Man Has Gone Before". I think on the the writers have said that its not meant to be the Planet from original series. http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Where_No_Man_Has_Gone_Before_(episode) In the original story both Mitchell and Dehner died on Delta Vega, the 2009 movie was meant to have created a new timeline. In this timeline they can both exist again and could lead very different lives due to the changes in the timeline. The whole reason they blew up the original timeline was so the writers didn't have to slavishly adhere to 40 years of Star Trek continuity and supposedly come up with new story lines. I personally thought it was a VERY lazy way around it, but it seems this story will be a retelling of an orignal story, instead of coming up with a totally original story.

I would welcome the use of the character Gary Mitchell in an alternative storyline. I would much rather this than a retelling of the Khan storyline, which in my mind has already been told to perfection in both "Space Seed" and the Movie "The Wrath. Plus no one could top Ricardo Montalban's "KHAAAaaaaaannnnnnn!!!!". I'm not sure JJ Abrams will go down the God like powers as the original story did in "Where no man has gone before". More likely, as you have said already, if he does use Gary Mitchell, he will go for a genetic engineered superhuman version. He'll have strength almost like Khan from a simular process. I don't think JJ Abraham's wants a Q type Entity in his lens flared filled Star Trek universe.

I was hoping we would win on Wednesday, so Saturday's result would not have bothered me too much. But thanks to stubborn Norwich not playing ball, now I have to really hope for a unlikely surprise result. I really can't see us getting anything either though
-
...next up Norwich... then LIVERPOOL!!

Hopefully we can repeat a performance like this at Liverpool after we beat Norwich -
I hope we never drop back into the bottom 3 again this season. Onwards and upwards. Much like when we were in league one and finally climbed out the bottom 4 after we had already over come our minus 10 points, this feels like that. We never looked back then that season and hope its the same this season. Its going to be a tough game on Wednesday against Norwich but the way we are playing now I think we can beat them.

Lets look on the bright side at least the timing is right for us for once. Normally we are the team to face the team with the new manager. It could of been worse and Harry's first game in charge could have been last Saturday if their chairman had acted a little more quickly. Then not only would they have their lift from the appointment to probably keep them up, but they would most definitely taken all 3 points on Saturday and we'd be even more glum I still believe we can stay up and thanks to last week push on from that big result and win the next couple of games.

I didn't know Neil Warnock suggested that Jason Puncheon wasn't good enough to play in the Premier League when Warnock was in charge of QPR.
-
Agreed, even in celebration someone has tried to make a negative
-
I just saw this and thought it was worth posting... Phil McNulty @philmcnulty Of course focus is on QPR boss Mark Hughes but must not fail to credit Southampton & Adkins. Positive, bold, attacking. Support superb too. http://twitter.com/philmcnulty Nice to see the club in general get some positive feed back! Together as one
-
Hope we aren't rushing him back too soon due to our current dire circumstances. I don't want him to end up as a permanent sick note!
-
Definitely worth a shot!

You've gotta be true to yourself
-
I think Adkins will struggle to find 5 positive things to say about this game. It will probably be easier to find 1 positive and 5 negatives

I would rather we stick with Adkins and go down then bring back Redcr@p.
-
Well it's not looking good. After 3 seasons of positive vibes surrounding the club, at the moment it's surrounded by a big black negative cloud. Apart from picking up a surprise win over spurs I'm not sure what is going to shift this black cloud of negativity away.

So far I have enjoyed watching Red Dwarf X but Lemons is the first of the new series that has made me laugh out loud. I thought Lemons had great production value. The India set looked brilliant and it was nice to see the crew get out in the fresh air and stretch their space legs. All of the main cast were on good form and it felt like they were really back in the skins of their characters properly for the first time since Red Dwarf X began. I think this was the best episode of Red Dwarf X so far. For me I'd say its the funniest Red Dwarf has been in a while. Personally I'd give this episode 4.5/5 pretty close to perfect. One of my favorite moments was the operation on a very sensitive certain area of Jesus to remove his kidney stone. Kryten:"Mr Lister sir can you hold this." Lister: "I'm not holding it, I barely know him!" Rimmer:"Pass the barbecue tongs, this is the high point of my entire career!"

You could probably change that to he wants to move to the MLS to further his bank balance. Perhaps they are offer silly wages that the English and Germans clubs that were interested didn't want to pay.
