On 13 August 2009, Forecast joined Grimsby Town on a one-month loan following an injury to Town's first-choice goalkeeper Nick Colgan.[8]Forecast made his full professional debut the following day for Grimsby against Crewe Alexandra in a 4–0 defeat, The Crewe Chronicledescribed Forecast's debut as "one of the most shockingly inept displays the Football League has ever seen".[

Great attitude……….maybe someone could send that to Obefemi!!

Yes we’ve looked great but at this level we really shouldn’t be in a position where our ‘fit’ left back can’t get in the team ahead of a right back. Is he really that bad?
-
If we had a left back we’d be half decent

Watch us pay the price for not making our dominance count

For me it’s not the amount, it’s the bloody principle and another classic example of the club being completely ignorant to how supporters - the lifeblood of the club - should be treated. Everything is about taking as much as possible and giving very little back. They simply don’t get it and with the toxic financial shock that’s coming over the horizon for every household in Britain they’d do well to keep people onside with small meaningful gestures.

I heard on TalkSPORT the other day that Barca’s wage bill has plummeted from something like £680M to £85M……….if that’s true, and I have no reason to doubt it, then it’s staggering and it’s no wonder they’ve struggled.

One match with three points a season doesn’t make. Unfortunately Ralph’s form is pretty dreadful and I wouldn’t be surprised if he went - I’d also not shed many a tear. As for Howe? I don’t think he’d be a bad fit, what you could call a square peg in a square hole - something Ralph has never mastered.

I’ve never met Franny. However at Anfield a couple of seasons ago I met his son and we exchanged seats so he could sit with his GF. He was a thoroughly decent, polite and amiable young man.

What he says is absolutely spot on and will be the precursor to selling JWP, SA, Livramento and anyone else who can return a decent profit in the next 18 months. We’re destined for the Championship, but I don’t say unfortunately as for me I’ll start getting some enjoyment back.

Interesting that. I did a bit of research and with the next 8 games that trend is somewhat reversed as you’d expect and we now have the ‘easiest’ games. So yes maybe it could be argued that the season starts now. https://footylabs.com/premierleague-fantasy/schedule-difficulty.html

I appreciate its all about opinions but surely Shilton has to be no1 if you saw him play? Granted Niemi was class ………but Shilts was a different level again

I have done some very crude Wiki research which is below. I must say his win ratio seems far worse. Manager Games Won Lost Drawn Win % Pellegrino 35 9 13 13 25.71 Hughes 27 5 10 12 18.12 Puel 53 20 13 20 37.74 Ralph 121 43 28 50 35.54

I just think his race is run. His stats are woeful and I’m led to believe the worst of our recent managers - if that’s true then that’s a shocking indictment on his tenure.
-
I enjoyed that and was quite informative. Personally I don’t go in for all the hatred and wish them well. The south coast would be a better place football wise if we were both in the PL. Also none of their supporters deserved some of those shameful owners.

Great stuff. Appreciated

Thank you

Yes I know it’s a week away but some advice please on parking for SU. I’m going to come up the A625 and will leave the same way so any local knowledge on locations would be much appreciated.

Knowing football and the PL it’ll be as simple as greed and trying to wring as much out of the loyal fan base as possible

With regards to the £15M cap if I recall correctly in the book ‘Alphabet of the Saints’ published around 1990/91 reference was made to the £1M we spent on Alan McLoughlin (RIP) and how it would be a while before another Saints manager would be trusted with £1M!! Clearly times changed so I’m sure we’ll burst through the £15M bracket one day!! Ive done this from memory so please don’t hang me out to dry if I’ve got the year wrong!! -

Exactly this……..FF’s father is a QC and a former/current Judge. All footballers are advised I’m sure but in Fraser’s case he’s probably bright enough to realise a number of things himself. -
Palace showing they have some character……..wish we could show some

If this ends up with a Newcastle win it’s no good letting a point against a half arsed Utd and a thrashing of a useless lower league team paper over the cracks that we have
-
Not sure why anyone thought anything else would happen
