  1. My Prime keeps dropping out on my Samsung tv. Playing through the app. Anyone else having issues?
  2. Djenepo poor so far
  3. I really don’t get some of you. It’s as clear as day what we need and has been for numerous windows. However we won’t address it and I doubt if any decent players will want to come. We haven’t done what we said we’d do in the international break so what makes you think we’ll do any decent January business? Supporting Saints is like being in an abusive relationship. There are constant promises to change but in reality it never happens. However because we love them we’re prepared to go back and keep taking it despite knowing we shouldn’t.
  4. Thank you Sir. I dedicate my last post of the day to you!
  5. Thanks Sherlock. I see the route and it’s a 15 minute walk. Any knowledge on how busy it gets? Looking to gauge when to leave. Of course if we do a ‘Leicester’ then it won’t be an issue!
  6. Useful information. I have to be at Euston for 17:30. Any advice you could give me about tim3 to leave the ground, which underground station best and time to get there would be much appreciated. I have a feeling it’ll be a miserable day as it is without missing a train back up north!!
  7. Spurs were there for the taking...... we bottled it. Everton were there for the taking.........we bottled it Liverpool were there for the taking.........we bottled it We’ll get nothing but at least nobody will be surprised
  8. If we want to stay up and if he can stay fit I’d rather Lallana in January. It’s no time for an unproven teenager no matter how good he could be. Anyway I’m sure the link is pure tosh and if us and Arsenal were genuinely interested I know where he’d go.
  9. We need quality. I just wonder which players who have the requisite quality will come to us in January? We’ll probably hear of lots of supposed targets, non of which are achievable, just to appease us. Always the same story.
  10. Absolutely this. I just keep asking, how have we managed to get ourselves into such a mess again? We learned nothing from the last time and we may well do a Sunderland.
  11. I think you’re right over ‘walkup’ fans. I live in the NW and having spent probably a couple of thousand this season already for my son and I to attend games I’m now drawing the line. I didn’t go yesterday but will be at Arsenal, after that who knows. I’m simply not prepared to just chuck money at the club when the reality is we are being taken for mugs and I’m sorry, whilst I may be a fan and life long supporter of Saints I’m no mug and I’m respectfully too intelligent to be taken as one by SFC. I don’t buy into the follow at all costs attitude and I don’t think it’s too much to ask to get some value for money and a bit of entertainment every now and again. Personally I don’t care if we go down, mid table in the Championship will be more interesting than what we’ve been served up over the last few seasons.
  12. Three wins from safety and two wins all season.........you do the maths

  14. I don’t know the stats but I am no longer prepared to shell out £150 and do a 400 mile round trip for abject home performances
  15. No we can go down. I support Saints......not the league we play in. Plus anything has to be bette4 than this
  16. Fat Sam to steady the ship anyone?
  17. Lallana.............yes I know the issues but he would improve us if he could stay fit.
  18. FYI For those going to the game tomorrow: Entrance to the stadium is gained by first going through a security cordon at Gate 11, where tickets are checked. Then fans are to go through a metal detector (the type of which you would see at an Airport) and are subject to a pat-down search. Lastly, tickets are presented at the automatic turnstiles, for the barcode on the ticket to be read to get inside the ground. Please note that the club operates a strict policy for bringing bags into the stadium. Any carrier bags must be clear of colour and be no more than 30cms long and 30cms high. Whilst only personal bags that are A4 in size or smaller (maximum 21cms x 30cms) will be allowed. The Club do not operate a bag drop off or creche facility, so if arriving with a bag larger than these dimensions you may find yourself with a real dilemma. The gates open to the stadium two hours before kick off.
  19. I see from the BBC that he may make his England debut at StMarys. He appears to be one that got away from us during a time of financial strife. I’m not convinced by his injury record but never the less having just seen an interview with him and read his Wiki page I hope he does well and if he does play next week it’d be great for the supporters to get behind him, especially as there’ll be a large contingent of Saints fans in the crowd. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrone_Mings
  20. Judging by the fact everyone is searched they’re certainly not particularly smart in the way they go about it so I’d suggest limited intelligence is used especially at run of the mill games like ours. You’re right about football being a potential target. Let’s just hope that never happens and again it does need to be a fine balance.
  21. The searches they do are pointless. I was at Burnley yesterday with my son and we attend numerous away games where supporters are searched. They should either do it correctly or not bother. However to do it right would take too much time. They would be better off profiling those they want to search, use intelligence (information) to target certain individuals or doing thorough random searches. At Stoke a couple of years ago the drugs dog was all over me - I don’t even smoke. It turned out it was because I also have a Labrador and that was what he was sniffing. It was lucky for me as it could have proved professionally embarrassing.
  22. Remember that so well. My dad nearly didn’t take me. If I recall it was 8-2. Moran, Danny Wallace hat tricks with Frank Worrhington and Armstrong getting the other two. Worthingtons was given by the Lino as it was hacked away after it had crossed at the Milton Road end. Puckett missed a simple chance- hit the post I believe? Allardyce was in the Coventry side.
  23. Absolutely. I won’t r3new. It’s so frustrating
  24. Cheer yourselves up......worked for me.
  25. Let’s just start planning for the the Championship and go with who we’re likely to have.
