I just booked two tickets for the crewe game Saturday. I rang the club on a normal number, I then spoke to a person and not some machine. I ordered my tickets which were £21 for my son and I. Then I paid using my credit card without being charged. How refreshing.

This for me. We are Southampton..................like it or not our better players have, do and always will move on to better clubs. We have a relatively small ground that we can't fill every week and a small catchment area for support. That's life sadly but nothing will change and as long as there is a club it will my support.

Some may not remember him but he was I believe our first £1M pound player. He is now at Pompey and has had strong links with them over the years. Sad to read that he has been suffering from cancer and it was a shame it never worked out with us as he was a decent player. I seem to remember in one of the Saints books I read a quote saying it would be a long time before a manager was trusted with £1M again after how he worked out!! Cup has cost us big style. Players not bothered and our season will fade. They have nothing really to get themselves up for apart from maybe the players looking to go to Brazil. Let's hope with the players that will leave in the summer we don't do a Fulham or WBA
