We have had a mare all season. It started with appointing MP, it continued with our style of play, that progressed to our results, the issue of VVD and then this window. It'll culminate in our relegation and what annoys me more than anything is that every bit of it was avoidable.

Our free kick and we go backwards..........

For me we're a bit like political party. To begin with if you spout enough propaganda people will believe it and with a bit of success you all ride along on the crest of a wave. However if your model isn't sound, you take things for granted eventually things will start to unravel, people will see through things and gradually lose interest and drift away. Although unlike politics we won't go and suddenly start watching other teams we will see the apathy that is creeping in and if we go down the repercussions that will bring.

I think people are falling out of love with the game at this level in general. Its all about money, players don't really care and owners are out for a profit. It's taking me a while but I'm seeing the light. I'm an intelligent man who is basically fed up with blindly throwing money at a product where nothing is reciprocated. 43 years I've been loyal to this club and I find it very sad.

He's desperate to win this given that side and Fulhams

Boycott the next game

I'm a northern Saint now and not far from Liverpool. The city centre beats Southampton hands down.

Graham Baker and Mike Channon

Wish players and coaches would say what they really want to say

Long : I'm not the most talented player and I haven't scored for a while. However I will run all day for the side, never complain and give a 100% all of the time. It would be nice if sometimes the supporters appreciated that because I work with some players with massive egos who don't come close to my professionalism. -
If last season was a car crash then we're on for a pile up at the end of this one. There are clearly many empty seat at SMS and quite rightly people are going to think twice about going or renewing the ST's. I don't buy in to all this plastic fan rubbish. I love watching Saints but quite frankly when we are being served up such tripe and forced to pay a kings ransom for the privilege there comes a point when enough is enough.

In fairness if CA is out for a few weeks it's games where we're playing tough sides and the FA cup.

No surprise. MP will be next

It's a month since the initial poll. Any chance it could be run again? Be interesting to see how people's opinions have changed.

High likelihood that by the end of the night all teams below us will have lost.

Very sad. Used to get it sent to me as I didn't live in Southampton. They call it progress.

Likewise. I want a feel good factor seeing us play. I don't get it in the Prem so if we go down I don't care. It's Saints I love and follow, not the league we're playing in.
-
The bottom line is they don't make money so don't really care. In fact if you think they care about the fans in any way then you're sadly mistaken.

Exactly how I felt on leaving Stoke on Saturday. Call me what you like but I'm getting to the point where spending £2K a year being bored every week isn't a viable option. I want to be entertained and frankly I had a better feel good factor every weekend when we were in league one and The Championship.

About time the book was thrown at people. Anti social behaviour is becoming the norm due to soft sentences. Maybe others will think twice.

Says it all really when we consider spending £40M to be fantasy, it should be reality in this day and age.

Yes it was definitely Cassells. I recall in 89 having a chat with Keith over a cigar and pint regarding him going to Saints with Wright. Top man and did well for himself in Herts Police

Yes until the end of the season. Then it's all change and start again.
