  1. I think in the current economic climate more people have to consider whether such a trip is value for money and let's face it Saints are not good value for money. I want to be entertained, I want to be excited and I want to go home feeling that I haven't been subjected to a process by a team just to get a result. Sadly that's what Sainst are like at the movement.
  2. Loved league 1 and The Championship. Gave me the feel good factor winning which is the same as the Prem but happened more often. Cheaper to see Saints and more games. For me if we were destined for mediocrity in the Prem with mid table finishes and no cups runs I'd plump for relegation and some excitement.
  3. Personally I'd prefer some identity back. The feel good factor is seeing us win no matter what league we are in. I enjoyed the lower leagues, we played decent football, had more games and got some success. Saturday's gave me the good feeling of having seen my team win - it didn't matter what league we were in. We also played more games and weren't being ripped off just to pay silly wages. I'm going to be radical but if relegation meant that again I'd take it. I'm fed up with being treated like a mug by The Premier League and dare I say it our club too. I'm also fed up seeing players just come and go.
  4. When you see the behaviour of Fonte, Berahino et al and then read an article like this it makes for very sad reading. Would also be nice if maybe his old clubs especially Villa and Saints could do something for him.
  5. I think like me fans for the money they are paying want to be entertained. I get it the semi tickets aren't expensive but for me it's a 400 mile round trip and a day off work. I've done it for decades but now I'm starting to question it and have drawn a line on this one. If we were being entertained it'd be a different matter.
  6. He'll be off to Hull..............
  7. Little wonder so many tickets available for the upcoming games. We are boring
  8. Brought this on ourselves with the changes.
  9. Yep and we will follow that up on Wednesday and go out to Arsenal because we'll play a different side again. I for one am fed up to the back teeth with rotating players and hearing they need a rest. These are young fit men being paid a kings ransom and between games doing very little. I don't have those excuses in my job and am expected to perform week in week out. It is no different for them but this attitude has Krept in to the game and now it's in vogue.
  10. I believe that what we are seeing is what is to come for Saints under this managerial regime. Unfortunately abject mediocrity will be the norm.
  11. Absolutely but I'd suggest ours is at the upper end. Watching that video made me wince. It's mindless and nothing can be said to defend it. Football is being used as a vehicle for this sort of behaviour and it's unfortunate to say the least.

  13. Saints have a scummy, nasty element that follow them. Dress it how you like but videos posted about the away trip to Milan sum it up totally
  14. I love Saints and for me the feeling we get when we win was just as good in the lower leagues. Now though I am drifting away. The grotesque wages, uninspiring manager and non descript direction we are going leaves me bored. It's expensive to follow football so they need to ***** my interest and for me it's not happening this season.
  15. This.........I'm staggered that a multi million pound business has such a shocking web site. I don't bother with it at all.
  16. I did last season and was a waste of money. Not bothering this year and seeing as we will not be as successful as last time round there won't be a problem getting tickets.
  17. Can we call him MaPel for short please?
  18. We appear to have a nasty moronic element to our fan base so I wouldn't be surprised from my previous experiences of following Saints away if this was true.
  19. I see he has gone to Crewe Alex. I'll probably see him play Saturday and few of my mates are asking about him. Any views? Shop window for him as surely he has no future at Saints?
  20. I watch Crewe quite a bit and am a member. My lad and I can sit in great seats for £25 for us both. We can park for free, get a coffee for £1.50, get close to the players who put in a proper shift. I know it's league one and they are bottom but it's refreshing to watch
  21. Saw Dan Harding for Eastleigh at Crewe in the FA Cup. Looked too good for them
  22. Relegation fight this season. That's not scaremongering or bed wetting just an honest assessment of where we are as a club
  23. Kevin awarded my boy and the rest of his team their team shirts at Peckforton Castle a couple of seasons ago. He was a tribute to his profession and I managed to have a few words with him. Thanks Kev for everything you did for Saints and good luck.
  24. Personally I'm more worried about staying up
  25. Seems like he has followed your advice but deleted it before I was in a position to record what it was!!
