Early rum ration pal? Mr Gao likely sees the passion of fans in the stadium, not those sat behind their keyboards. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

He's currently on the bottom of your momentum curve. HTH. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

"A broken record....!" my I larfed.... Besides I thought you were meant to be in St Tropez, are you seriously telling me you've got nothing better to think of apart from bumping yet another one of your tediously boring threads. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

A draw is the very best I can see, we are polar opposite teams. Their confidence is sky high whilst we are bereft of any confidence or leadership whatsoever. Wanted to go to this but tickets sold out, at least there will be a good following, time for the away fans to do their stuff again. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Meh, I was hoping to get away with a plucky 2 nil loss so after 20 minutes was expecting a hat full. Problem is I'm not sure we can win enough games in our league to get enough points to stay up. We need a marked improvement all over the pitch. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I'd take that now if offered. This could be a much darker day. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

If you'd have seen the first hour against Burnley then you would know why we abandoned 3 at the back pretty sharpish. We looked / were woeful. -

I'm not worried at all. On our current form I fully expect us to go down this season, no point worrying about it, sh it happens. Who knows, we may survive, bonus. -
So you've listed all the things he's allegedly crap at and then you say we should get decent money for him. Right. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

It wasn't. We lost 1 - 2. Rod Wallace, Brian Kilcline & David Smith. https://www.11v11.com/matches/southampton-v-coventry-city-12-march-1988-88868/ And sorry - no I don't have a ticket stub either...!

Keeper should have come. He doesn't have to catch it, or punch it cleanly, just affect the ball. Sky pretty much showed this after the game. It's gone now so no point dwelling, and besides Alex has made some top drawer saves since he's been in. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Book him Danno, murder one. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Agreed, it's just that our confidence appears to be wafer thin right now, so we could do without a right good scuddin'. So a plucky loss, no disgrace, and move onto the next one.

Pretty much. But if you sh it yourself against Brighton 2 nil up at home, it doesn't bode well for too many other games.

If we get out with a 2 nil loss I'd be relatively happy. That is the sad state of affairs right now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I would be happy to be average, average keeps you up. We were nowhere near average in that second half, closer to abysmal. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

All talk and no action. We've failed to capitalise on a really easy set of opening games. I would imagine that confidence is pretty frail right now and I can only see it getting worse as we start to take on the bigger teams. I think we are pretty much fair game at St Mary's for any team who shows a bit of belief. Long hard season ahead, not sure I really want to take in a lot of games this year. 2 / 10. Why do you think that somebody who has only just bought the club would be in any hurry to sell it? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

1st impressions, nothing to write home about, too lightweight in the tackle, a downgrade on Tadic. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Redmond was ok and has been better this season, but he really does need to work on his final ball whether it's a cross or a shot, both are generally pretty poor. It's no good constantly getting into good positions if the end product is always crap. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Yep, Alex doesn't even need to get great contact on it, just enough to change its flight, awful decision not to go for it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

MH saying we need to manage the game. All very well but we evidently can't manage games once we get into wining positions. Instead of trying to 'manage games', why not just continue to play the way that got you into the winning position in the first place. Or is that rocket science. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Could be right. Villa went down over the course of about 4 poor seasons and now they are suffering big time. We are probably on "poor season 3" at the moment, so we need to turn the season form around pretty quickly otherwise it's back to the obscurity of the Championship. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
