Agree with what you are saying to a point. But VAR is meant to be there to pick up the things that the referee on the field fails to see - therefore the VAR officials will always alert the ref to review something if they think it's warranted. They are also looking at game changing decisions, which obviously we all want them to get right. Last night it went against us - but in future games it could work for us. My main issue with VAR is that it is still the subject of somebodies 'opinion or interpretation' of what happened in a lot of cases, and if the on field ref is asked to review something, then immediately they may think that they have made the wrong decision and feel pressured into reversing that decision, because somebody else is questioning it. I'm not really a fan of VAR just yet - work in progress for me.

I can't actually believe i'm bothering to argue the point myself to be quite honest. It's 4 o'clock in the afternoon and I'm on here, you can tell it's a slow work day. It was only a technicality that I was pointing out in the first place - but it appears to have hit a nerve.

No, we all know that a missed penalty is one that is not on target and therefore the keeper is not required. Anything else that doesn't go in is saved, but no, I'm not particularly assed about the game either way, highly unlikely we would've won the cup anyway. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Agree, it wasn't a good pen. But if the keeper guessed the other way, it goes in, and everybody says, he gave him the eyes, it was a cool penalty etc, etc. It was on target, he did not miss it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
