  1. I thought it was a penalty.
  2. Indeed, we are in deep do do, need our strongest team to get us out of the shyte Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  3. Probably true, but this is saintsweb so can we focus on the negatives please. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  4. Pop. That's the New Manager Bounce done. Where next, City, Chelsea - could be looking at 3 straight losses after that lot. Watched the first half - thought West Ham were better than us across the park. Only watched the last 15 minutes of the second half - was expecting the charge of the light brigade to get back into it. We didn't have a kick.
  5. This. Throwing kids in too soon doesn't help them either.
  6. We're losing it high up, and with lots of players pressing. Most are struggling to recover, but Lamina has put in some lung busting runs to get back goal side. We're gonna get done like this though, caught on the break. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  7. Other than the MLS I wouldn't say his strike rate is that good at all. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  8. If you say so. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  9. Yes, he is wrong, on so many levels. Do we really have the 'worst / most mongs fans in the UK'? Do we? Is a guy with a camera at the game really causing you so much of an issue, really is he? So what really is the difference between the much revered old school fans and modern day premiere league fans of today? I was at Huddersfield the other day, a lady, must have been at least 65, was helped by a steward to her seat in Row A in front of me before the game. She sat down and a little while later turned round and asked me to take a photo of her in her Santa hat, perhaps the 'old school' fan in me should've told her to sit down and not be such a mong. There really is no need to be rude or ignorant of fans who may want a slightly different match experience to your own - a little bit of tolerance is all it takes. If you read back through this thread Owen has explained his very good reasons for being involved with 90Min, and I think a lot of young people would jump at the chance to do what he does, given the perks of the job. So was there really any need to be abusive? No. If SKD didn't like it, why watch it, switch it off - move on. Oh, did I tell the lady to **** off. No I politely took two photos for her, handed her phone back and made idle chit chat for 2 minutes. Then I moved on.
  10. Why do you have to be so abusive? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  11. Last team that I saw us play at the Dell, we won! Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  12. He had 3 decent chances yesterday and converted 1. I was impressed in how he made 3 yards of space by going backwards for his goal, showed a bit of composure and know how. Hope he gets more chances to develop now, looks to have good pace too. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    Nathan Redmond

His final effort yesterday was awful, but good to see him have a cheeky smile and wink to the crowd as he laid on the pitch. He's obviously enjoying his football now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  14. Horrible game, on par with the Tranmere collapse and a few others that I cannot care to mention. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  15. Surely if it was on Twitter it's true? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  16. Jesus christ, get a grip. There is life and football outside of the premiership. Miracles, I've heard it all now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  17. No, I'm not trying to make it anything other than what it was - I just know he was there because I saw him get off the bus...! After that it was all assumption - he may be nearer the actual match-day squad (and in Ralphs thoughts), he may be there purely to support the rest of the squad - no biggie. There was no ulterior motive in what I posted. FWIW I actually agree with the majority (I think) in that he has had a chance to cement a place and has failed to do so. A move to another club maybe just the thing that kick starts his career, sort of reminds me of Surman in many ways.
  18. Last Christmas I gave you my heart The very next day you gave it away This year to save me from tears I'll give it to Hasenhuttl... Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    Fan behaviour

From where I was, it looked like a fan threw a bottle (I think) which didn't hit Armstrong, and then somebody else threw what looked like a clapper. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  20. I never watch MOTD when we lose. Is that bad.? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  21. Well said. He may not have been in the matchday squad but he did travel today, so he was either close to it or he was supporting the other lads, both commendable. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  22. Just got back, another great away day, early Christmas present. Generally we played well and fully deserved the win, Rom and PEH ran the midfield and Danny and Nathan caused them all sorts of problems up front. At the back we were ok, but we're still prone to mistakes and misplaced passes and headers. Vest and Maya won most of the high balls, although Vest sometimes tries to get ahead of his man which can leave him out of position sometimes. Thought both Target and Valery did ok, although Valery picked up a stupid booking for time wasting at a throw in, which puts unnecessary pressure on him and the manager. That said, managers subs were spot on today, each sub strengthened the team. All in all though, a decent away performance, but I have to say Huddersfield were woeful. Everything was just, hoof it, kick it or throw it long, there was no gameplan or tactics, just kick and rush. Fans were excellent today, great scenes at the end with the players, especially PEH, Oberfemi and Ralph. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  23. Me and the boy are going for a 2 nil away win. Right, we're off should there in a couple of hours. COYR. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  24. The future becomes the present when we are two nil up with ten to go, or we are at least playing with confidence and are comfortably mid table. I'm all for getting the kids onto the field but let's at least try and take some of the pressure off before we do. Yes we all clamour for giving youth a chance but if it's not done properly it can knock their confidence, it's the managers job to protect the players. Other than that, I also think Cedric is the better player as well. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
