Subbed after an hour, didn't really make an impact. Meanwhile Billy Sharp (remember him) won the game for Sheffield United with a late goal. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Totally agree, we needed Swansea to drop like a stone for the last quarter of last season, while we plodded over the line. This season, in a couple of months, we're going to need a couple of teams to totally implode while we show a marked improvement. Can't see it, just not happening. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Watching the dull, boring Reading game, being played in a soulless, half empty Madjeaski stadium. Preparing myself. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

With all due respect there is no 'could be' about it - it is a certainty that come Jan we will still be propping up the league. I think the real decision that he club will have to make at that point is whether we are trading to stay in the premiership or trading in preparation for leaving the premiership. The latter is probably the more realistic.

Starting for Reading tonight - now live on sky.

No points, more misery, propping up the league by the end.
-
I think we will get relegated quite quickly, which will make some decisions for next season quite easy. Unfortunately I think it means that all the players you currently want to offload will stay, and the little amount of quality that we have will go. The real issue is we will not get back to the premiership for some years in my opinion, time to embrace lower league football once more.
-
The problem is that when they do score, we just capsize. If they score first there is little chance that we are getting naff all.

In short, shape up or ship out. Excellent. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Is this being streamed? Actually I hope not, because I'm looking forward to West Brom versus Villa. Either way I'll keep my eye on it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Time for the fanbase to stick with the manager whatever??

Give him at least 10 games before we start the Ralph Out thread. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk -
Agree that with some of the more agricultural teams he may be an asset but on the whole he has to improve in terms of speed of thought and recovery.
-
What he's about is 5 yards too slow. It's no good being 7 foot 6 if, when the ball and man goes past you on the deck, you constantly fail to recover. He has to improve in this area or he's not going to find it easy holding down a place.

Aaah yes, thank you, I do. Age is catching up and I got confused with some of the old haunts of my early years in Germany. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Mate, if you'd seen us at Derby (we were awful) , and then when Duss ran another 3 in at SMS you knew we were in for a long hard season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Warnock will have them pumping it into the box on every occasion possible so need our defence to hold firm. How often have they done that? That said - I'm with Simo, going for the super positive 3 nil away win based on nothing more than new manager bounce. Please.
-
After Derby and Dusseldorf I said we would be relegated. Up til now, I've seen nothing to change that view. But now Ralphs here - who knows. I'll stick with yes for now.
-
Finishing and defending are our problems. Probably the two hardest skill-sets in football.

Coventry still went down that season if memory serves...!
