  1. Just got back, another great away day, early Christmas present. Generally we played well and fully deserved the win, Rom and PEH ran the midfield and Danny and Nathan caused them all sorts of problems up front. At the back we were ok, but we're still prone to mistakes and misplaced passes and headers. Vest and Maya won most of the high balls, although Vest sometimes tries to get ahead of his man which can leave him out of position sometimes. Thought both Target and Valery did ok, although Valery picked up a stupid booking for time wasting at a throw in, which puts unnecessary pressure on him and the manager. That said, managers subs were spot on today, each sub strengthened the team. All in all though, a decent away performance, but I have to say Huddersfield were woeful. Everything was just, hoof it, kick it or throw it long, there was no gameplan or tactics, just kick and rush. Fans were excellent today, great scenes at the end with the players, especially PEH, Oberfemi and Ralph. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  2. Me and the boy are going for a 2 nil away win. Right, we're off should there in a couple of hours. COYR. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  3. The future becomes the present when we are two nil up with ten to go, or we are at least playing with confidence and are comfortably mid table. I'm all for getting the kids onto the field but let's at least try and take some of the pressure off before we do. Yes we all clamour for giving youth a chance but if it's not done properly it can knock their confidence, it's the managers job to protect the players. Other than that, I also think Cedric is the better player as well. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  4. Cedric, once he's had the 'my way or highway'brief. Valery one for the future. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  6. Still loading his winnings into a wheelbarrow probably. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  7. What Trousers said. Huddersfield is now a big, big game. We can't beat Arsenal and then get nothing from this game, a point minimum. If we beat them it pushes them further into the mire which obviously helps us. Will be going to this one, so going for an optimistic 2 nil win. Are we wearing Christmas fancy dress just to upset Turkish? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  8. Great start for Ralph. Given we did it without Cedric, Ryan and Mario, who whether you rate them or not, are big players for us is very impressive. Giving Johnson a little taste as well is a good sign of things to come. Looking forward to going to Huddersfield next week now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  9. Good post. I think some people are failing to see how bad our current predicament is. We need a massive turn around to get out of this, and personally I can't see us making it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  10. Good - because they have cocked up a fair few of my days off over the last couple of years....!
  11. Pretty much how I see it. The real problem is we don't have any quality at CB - therefore I think we have to at least get consistency - play the same players, let them get used to each other, stop chopping and changing.
  12. With all due respect I'm going to give this one a wide berth for now. I get that we are now in the snowflake generation, but I don't believe that professional sportsmen can't realise that they need a bloody great boot up the arse to improve performance.
  13. Cedric Stephens Yoshida Bertrand Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah I guess so, but he's rarely near his own man, and as I said before we're not fit enough to do this all game. Going to take a lot of work from the players to get this going, not gonna happen overnight. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  15. Aaah you've noticed this as well, what's it all about, because I can't fatham it. He does try to work hard, but essentially runs out of steam after 20 minutes. He is a good finisher, but you have to do all the spade work for him. If we had a good team making lots of chances we could carry him, but we don't, so he's a bit of a passenger really. 16. Mate, people spout complete rubbish on here most of the time and pass it of as fact. Fact. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  17. So what have you read? Are you a troll? Sorry to ask but one line posts laden with innuendo and biased opinion always make me think that you are on the inside of the club or simply on a wind up. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  18. Why not, no doubt our players will come loaded with presents for their players. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  19. Exactly, youth is not the way. Anyway tossing them into this mess would only ruin their development as footballers. I watched Reading v Sheffield United yesterday, Simms subbed after an hour, played ok, nothing special - Billy Sharp got the winner after 85 minutes. We need the right players to do the job, our youth are not going to get us out of this mess, they're not ready. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  20. I think the real tragedy of this situation is that over the years we have had some real class at centre back. Such a shame to see this area of the pitch in such a mess at the moment. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  21. What other team would want our players? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  22. Conversely it could be that people find you a tiresome bellend that repeats the same crap ad nauseum. After a few airings it loses its appeal, you come across as a child desperate for attention. As trousers says, your bites are reducing, perhaps you should change tack. 23. No, I m sure there were quite a lot, certainly more than a few. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  24. Agree entirely. Those people who think it's just a matter of buying in a couple of players in January are wrong in my opinion. Also, the January window is notoriously difficult for getting good quality over the line. Do you back the manager with money (that perhaps you don't have) or just hope that we have enough quality already. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  25. At the beginning of the season most on here were saying that we shouldn't contemplate selling him to Fulham. Now he's ****. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
