I don't think protests work/I'm not interested in them.
Micky replied to Guan 2.0's topic in The Saints
You probably need to read his other Pellegrino out protest thread before deciding that..! Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk -
That's bad, could very well escalate out of control to A3 soon. Even bigger. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

So is this protest gathering any strength yet, what exactly will the protesters be doing? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

So glad to hear that Ryan Giggs is going to be named as the new Wales manager. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Strangely, this is where I am as a fan, but I'm not optimistic about our chances of staying up. If I was to choose between protest or support, then it would be support every time. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

You really are not very good at this are you? I understand that you want to troll the board, but you are so bad at trolling you come across as a 13 year old kid, or worse, a skate. Really looking forward to reading your next offerings. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

The club have held contingency meetings about Championship Football

Again we may not like it, but it's probably pretty much standard practice for both players and agents when it gets to the business end of the season. Looking after number one and all that. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk -
Agreed, the circumstances are very different but it is still a very difficult league to get out of. Bigger clubs than us have struggled to recover after going down Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

This is my main concern. I'm fairly certain that we will get relegated this season, we have lost our balls all over the park. But for me, the overriding issue is that i just don't see us coming back up any time soon. We were very, very lucky last time in that Markus found us and the rest is history. But realistically how many Markus Liebherr's are there out there, are we likely to get that lucky twice in a row? There are much bigger clubs than us that have lounged in the lower leagues for many years, is not easy to get back up. I'm resigned to a long stint of lower league football. To be fair, it's probably one of the more prudent actions that they have conducted all season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk -
Given we haven't won in ten, that is nowhere near enough games. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Not only are we going to be relegated, but we are going to get relegated from a bunch of teams who are all pretty much as bad as each other. After the top 7 or 8 the quality of this league is pretty awful to be honest, yet we are still struggling to compete with them. This season also has parallels with the last time we went down, West Brom pulled off a great escape that year, can see that happening again. Shame really because we have some decent players, but my biggest worry is that when we go down we won't get back up for many seasons. I fear this may be our last season in the top flight for many years to come. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Good post - this is pretty much where I am as well. I'm just not sure that Theo is the type of player that is going to 'save us', and right now we need saving. Don't get me wrong, if we were safely top half / mid table and we were out to try and get Theo back I'd be all over it like a rash - but I'm really not convinced that he is the player we need given the job in hand.

We've actually passed the 'bordering' stage as well! HTH.

Watford at home was the worst that we have played this season in my opinion, so I'm not holding out much hope for this one. Not sure what to do for this one, if we score first we all know what the tactics will be and we will end up losing. If they score first do we have the character and bollux to roll up our sleeves and get back into it, or even go on and win it? I fear we have that losing habit and that can be very hard to break. 2 - 0, when was the last time Watford took 6 points off us (and could knock us out of the cup as well)?

Fv ck me, you really do need some practice. Listen, you may aspire to be Glasgow, but you're not anywhere near his league, you're trying too hard. Relax a little bit, and try and add a little subtlety. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I've actually heard quite a few pundits make the point quite vocally that Coutinho has worked hard and played very well leading up to his transfer. Sort of gave me the impression that what they were trying to say was that some others (VvD) hadn't shown the same commitment to their old club. I think Dean Saunders was the only pundit that I heard question his effort directly saying that it could be something that could happen again. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Oh James, oh James. I think all you've done is confirm exactly what CB is saying there. Sustainability because the owner is willing to cover a loss / foot the bill / pick up the tab, is only for the very rich sugar daddies. As you quite rightly point out, but essentially they are covering loss. Not many clubs have owners who are able to fund such losses, even if they wanted to. Most clubs of or status have to work within their means and cut their cloth accordingly. You may not like CB Fry's tone, but he is spot on with his assessment. Too many fans think it's just a case of throwing money at it, especially somebody else's. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

But we are only having to sell them to clubs much bigger than us because those clubs can double their wages. When we are forced to sell players to lesser clubs you can start to worry about things. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
