The former, there's always the Final. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Not at all good for me or my son. Have done numerous home and away league games, all of the fa cup games bar Fulham, but not being a STH or Member then we don't qualify until 12 April. Gutted.

The fact that he now has a gig on talk sport is less than surprising really given the general tone of the station. But the fact that the BBC once saw fit to have him as a panellists on Question Time once is bloody unforgivable. Mental. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Is that even plain English? Or just bvllsh it? Makes no sense to me..!

Two games against Chelsea, which is more important?

The Cup. The prem is fast becoming an elitist / also ran league, and we will likely always be the latter. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk -
Relax - he'll tear up the Championship.

Pitch was fine. Ok, not premiere league pristine, but certainly in decent nick given the pounding it takes. It did have the odd divot here and there (a bit like this forum [emoji6] ) but it wasn't really that much of a problem. As VFTT said above, the main issue was the wind. Just got back. Not sure how much it showed on tv but it was quite windy, (and bloody cold!) which we played against in the first half, so i think that had something to do with some of the crap touches and poor balls. Have to say that we do have some lightweight players though who struggle against physical sides. That in itself is not a problem if you out skill them, but if you're left on your ass and don't makes any sort of recovery run, then your asking for trouble. That said, second half where the wind was in our favour we looked decent and should have won more comfortably with the chances we created. Gabbi will score, he just needs one to go in off his knee, or scuff one instead of catching if sweet. Overall good performance, decent subs and good away day. We're off to Wembley. Indeed it is, hope Isla gets the treatment that she needs. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Bloody good press conference. Nothing lost in translation which perhaps has been the case for a while now, but lots of positives there.

What a bloody refreshing press conference.

No because I can't look into the future. But history will tell you that at the start of next season various teams will sack their managers because they have made poor starts (as did Everton, Watford and Palace this season). Much easier to come in early on and turn things around with games to spare, than try to do so in our situation with only 8 games left. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Let's be honest, he could quite easily of ducked this one and waited for other easier opportunities that will surely come in the summer. He's taken on the challenge so he obviously thinks he can keep us up, and is confident in his coaching team as well. I will be fully supporting him no matter what happens from here on in. Evidently (if you look closely enough) they do.

Nice bloke, wrong place wrong time. Good luck.

I'm taking it that's a 'no' from you then?

Roy Keane.

I think that this is an important point and shouldn't be lost on too many fans. Whoever comes in now needs full support no matter what happens from here on in. We are at the business end of the season and we are all hoping that Hughes (or whoever) can do for us what the new guy at Swansea did - but it may not work out like that. I'm hoping that if it is Hughes he is driven by wanting to show his last employers that they were wrong to offload.
-
Agree - it's a gamble that most would take at the beginning of the season, but at the end with 8 games to go, you'd need big cahoona's to give him a shot at it.
-
Or in layman's terms '....beggars can't be choosers...'

Average tenure of a Prem Manager is about 1.3 years. So no, we won't be, and if we are it's because we want to be, which would probably only be because he was successful.

Looking forward to this one. Bit of a free hit as far as I'm concerned - win and we have a day out at Wembley, lose and we're not the only ones to suffer that fate. New ground for me and the boy as well - I believe that parking is pretty easy at the DW?
