I think he's on the half way line - doesn't know whether to cross it or not.

Agree - you could see that he was gutted to lose the header. Those saying that Wesley would've got to it, I'm not so sure, Maya's not been done by much, he is in and around his man, perhaps needed to lean into him more, I don't overly blame him though - fine margins.

This. Too many are punch drunk on a few good years where we probably over achieved. History will tell you that we are probably a mid to lower mid premier league team and whether you like that or not it is true. To break into the upper echelons requires more than just a little investment and is beyond most owners means. Some of the comments with regard to the owners making money are quite disingenuous - why do you think they bought the club. Have they invested - yes they have. Have they improved us since the takeover - yes massively. But they made no secret of the fact that to take the next step is very difficult - if they don't have the funds, fair enough, we suck it up, live within our means. Or we could go bust again of course. I've been to most of the games this season and we haven't been great, but then again, we haven't been really bad either (apart from Watford maybe). At the end of last season I knew that there was no way we were going to improve on our league position and I stand by that now. We are what we are, pretty much an average run of the mill premier team, no more, no less - we will have our ups and downs. Just had 3 years of ups, whose sticking around for the downs, or are we all leaving on 81 minutes, just like Saturday.

We are having a terrible season as well, I don't think anybody is denying that. Everton however spent big in the summer and were tipped by many for great things. FWIW I'm not that surprised by our own form right now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

This is what should of happened. I was there and I couldn't make out what the announcer said. Having said all of that, remembrance shouldn't need to be explained to people: Remain silent, remember, and pay personal tribute to those who fell. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Great news, that means we could get Mr Pulis when he becomes available. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Not only that, but for all of the perceived limitations in his outfield play, his dead ball delivery is very, very good. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Thank god you showed up. I was at the game and this is how I saw it as well. I can understand the over reaction because of the end result, but it really wasn't a game we shouldn't have got anything from. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk

Claud Puel could be the manager that relegates us this season. Karma...! Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk

I'm more surprised that Ryan is ready to go back to a side where he will effectively sit on the bench for most of the season. Thought that was the reason he left Chelsea and came to us.

Another player who discovered that the grass is not always greener. Feel for the lad, he was great for us and then it all went Pete Tong. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

They can concentrate on their charge up the league now then. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

The argument that he has to win something though is also flawed. Roberto Martinez won the FA Cup with a poor Wigan side not so long ago - does that make him one of the best in the world? Most would argue not, but it appears to be the benchmark that lots of posters here are setting for Poch. Oh he also got them relegated in the same season - does that make him a bad manager, or an even better manager because he won a major domestic honour with a crap team? Swings and roundabouts I think.

What's that, fans getting behind a player who is going through a bad patch. That will never catch on.

Pretty much how I understood it as well. Admittedly I was of the opinion that I wanted him to stay at least another season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I don't think that we are to far away from this to be honest. Look at the last two managers, one got us to eighth (forget how, he did) and this one currently has us in the top ten, but lots of people want him sacked as well. I'm not sure that some people really understand where we sit in the football pyramid or have realistic expectations about what we should be achieving. But if we keep hounding managers out of the door after ten games I can't see that that is good for the long term stability of the club.

I'm going, but not sure that I am.

Any good news...? -
This may be true - but if we are not going to hold the ball up then we have to have runners going either side of the player with the ball every time it goes up top. We don't appear to have either, Gabbi can't hold the ball up and needs it threaded into his run, but we don't have a player who can play that pass. When we try to build up, invariably we do it so slow there is a brick wall in front of us by the time we try a hopeful cross into the box, or even rarer, a shot at goal. We are far, far too cautious either way we try and play. Time for the manager to let the shackles off in a controlled way, speed the attacking play up and encourage runners to back up the player on the ball. Unless we can find somebody who can score regularly from the half way line, we need to sort out what happens when we get into the attacking half of the field.

Yep, your spelling is spot on. Your grammar on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired, I would suggest.
