I think that Alps is talking about the 'bigger picture'. Probably nobody here is too bothered about being out of the cup - but in terms of everything else football - tonight was a bad bad night for us, form, confidence, the lot - all took a big hit.

Depends what you want - if you want to stay in the league we have no problems, if you want to reach the play offs we have problems, if you want automatic promotion we have major problems.

If you want promotion then I think we need to stick to the top 2. Even if we made the play offs I really couldn't see us doing it from there - if it's not automatic, is nothing for me.

Don't think anybody is saying that. But just for good measure - check our our recent form. What you'll find, is that is is worrying, is giving cause for concern, is not very good, is making us drop away from the promotion places, is not indicative of instilling confidence in the players. There is a problem - if you fail to see it - tough.

Not quite so optimistic tbh. If this is still being classed as a blip I would hate to see a complete slump in form. The wheels are well and truely off, our form is shyte - worrying times if you were looking for promotion this year.

I actually found the whole article quite funny. Not that I condone throwing things at players - but really - that article was printed in a so called professional news publication...!!! My brother is an ex Army Medic, although he only did a couple of years in the ranks (Cpl I believe) before training as a Psychiatric Nurse and gaining a Commission - finished up as a Brigadier, last post was Commander Med in York I think. He's out now, flirted with local politics for a little while, but I think is now happy to live on a little part time consultancy, supplemented by his pension. I agree. But one thing that you have to remember is that the people at the FL are not fools. Fans at PFC can bleat all they like about their last succession of owners - but it is not really the FL's fault. Do you honestly think that for one moment that the FL would have passed any of those owners if better options were on the table. The bottom line is that, for years, they have been unable to attract any creditable owners and as a result have had to take what they got. It is not the FL remit to find them owners, in the circumstances they have cut them an amazing amount of slack. If the FL is guilty of anything it is not having them wound up years ago due to lack of creditable owners.

Park the bus - take a point - decent result in the circumstances.

Bit p i s s e d off, really could have done with getting the 3 points today - another chance to capitalise on a rivals poor performance missed. But, give that we came from behind, sounded like we had a good second half - guess I'll have to be happy with a point.
