  1. Not worth the risk, in my humble opinion of course.
  2. ....especially as they didn`t include the Tosser Factor....

this is nice too...... http://www.dreamsofcornwall.co.uk/ Off to Roseland end of next week - can`t wait.
  4. The sign of a mature and confident organisation is one that can laugh at itself. Same as people really. Like it.
  5. I agree. Somewhere like Gillingham might suit him.
  6. Not sure Shelvey is a `Saints type` - when he was at Charlton he had a reputation for being very selfish, very me-me and didn`t buy in to the squad `culture/philosophy.` We`ve had our share of misfits.
  7. Agreed. Something in me suggests that he might owe us some loyalty for looking after him and bringing him back to full fitness after his long absence. May be an old fashioned notion?
  8. She obviously decided it was never going to get any better than that. Smart lady.
  9. Thanks for that - much appreciated especially as I was privileged to be at Wembley that day. Sweet memories never die.
  10. Bit of a mountain to climb though, to be fair
  11. I don`t like Mondays.......
  12. Que sera, sera and all that. I hope he stays but if not I will be forever grateful to him for the contribution he has made over all that time.
  13. I`m especially pleased for Andy Surman, sold by us to Wolves in 2009 for £1.2million. That cash injection just about kept us `alive` at the most difficult of times and I had the impression that the sale, whilst good for the club, was really against Andy`s wishes - he was quoted at the time as saying he left Southampton `with a heavy heart.` It`s good to see him back in the Premier League and good luck to him and to Bournemouth. They`ve been where we`ve been and we should be pleased for them that it`s all come good.
  14. He knows it as well, if not better, than we do - and I`m sure he will work even harder at his game which, shooting aside, has been excellent all season.
  15. They`ll feel more at home with Herr Flick of the Gestapo.
  16. At last - a highly appropriate merging of Portsmuff and Colin W****r.
  17. This made me recall the words of French philosopher, Albert Camus - "Everything I know about morality and the obligations of men I owe it to football."
  18. So sorry to hear this sad news. I had the privilege of watching Bill play and he was elegance personified - something he took to every aspect of his life, I imagine.
  19. My comedy hero - takes comedy to another level, almost to the point that it stops being comedy and becomes reality.
  20. I agree. He seems to be under the delusion that shouting a lot, shaking his head a lot and walking about a lot is funny.
  21. Really enjoyable - thank you.
  22. Good decision.
  23. Many thanks for this - much appreciated.
