  1. It’s pretty simple, no? If we are unbeaten v Watford, it’s our best unbeaten league run in over 100 years, but not our best run ever.
  2. JWP was excellent tonight. Absurd he’s not in the national squad.
  3. I have a memory of getting tonked 3-0 there about 15 years ago.
  4. Apparently so.
  5. Sorry, am probably cursing this....but Sky are reporting that this (11 matches) is our best unbeaten run in 29 years. Anyone know how to find out what a 12, 13, 14, 15+ match unbeaten run would look like? I think our longest unbeaten run is something crazy like 28 matches....not expecting that....but am wondering at what point no one alive has seen a Saints run of this length without defeat (currently anyone under 29 years of age!)
  6. If Alfreton get through, I can see it being a TV game. Saints v Walsall less so.
  7. It’s so frustrating…it’s like it’s “nearly there”, but two quick passes to get the balls down the flanks seems like it’s a disciplinary offence…
  8. I’m really not worrying about it. I think if we do go up, we are unlikely to have a revolution - it will be more of the same (and odds on to go back down)…not that this would be a terrible outcome.
  9. Sulemana is a hamstring injury, right? Well, that might mean we don’t lose him in the January window.
  10. Weird interview. I don’t mind if a manager gets tetchy if the questioning is a bit off, but Blackmore’s questions were fine.
  11. Ground another one out. Pretty good second half, but we still don’t look like we will ever score more goals than we strictly need.
  12. Ground another one out. Pretty good second half, but we still don’t look like we will ever score more goals than we strictly need.
  13. Probably Sulemana and play AA left wing
  14. Might Ross Stewart start?
  15. Woeful 2nd half. Could have lost that. Odd substitutions too. Why change left backs? Why no Alcaraz? Still, unbeaten run continues. We are about evens favourites to win most league games, but obviously we won’t win them all.
  16. Great point by Rotherham. Thanks!
  17. When qualifying was difficult to navigate, maybe a break made sense. Now that qualifying should be a cake walk for the major nations, less so.
  18. Really excellent content recently, I must join the patreon thing....every episode is a really good listen.
  19. Yeah, fair play....I assumed you were referring to the NI goal scorer....
  20. LOL 😆
  21. Obviously, the England game was a dead rubber with some comedy decisions by the ref, but did anyone else think there was no width, speed and overlap? There was hardly any "getting in behind", almost looked like wingless wonders again. Not too fussed about another mediocre performance, just seemed the obvious way to beat N Mac was a KWP-style player down the right and a Sulemana down the left.
  22. Aribo has been okay this season. A solid 6 or 7 out of 10.
  23. Worst game of football I’ve seen in a long while. Still, very little at stake, I guess.
  24. Agree. There’s very little gap between the bottom six in the EPL and the top six in our division - in fact, I’d say the best 3 or 4 teams in the Championship are probably better than Luton, Burnley & Sheff Utd.
