With everyone get excited about us signing Ronaldo, Messi, Fabregas etc, I notice that no Saints player has ever had a full international cap for Brazil, Argentina, France, Italy, Germany (East/West or United), Spain, Russia or Portugal. (whilst playing at our club - caps before or after don't count) We have had Saints players representing (at least) 25 different countries though. Can you name them?

5 goals in 24 appearances is a perfectly good return. Not great, but entirely adequate. I agree though that Puncheon has had a truly excellent season.

Actual performance 4/10 - he's had a few good games and has scored an okay-ish number of goals Potential - 8/10 Overall, disappointed so far. But still hold out hope that he'll come good.

Jury still out. Has shown real ability in a hnadful of games. His finishign isn't great, but we bought him as one for the future and I think he has bags of potential.

I'm going to persist. It's not transfer fees. It's a playing staff budget. If, for example, we get rid of 15 of our players - on frees - we probably save ourselves £25m of total liabilities (over 2+ years) That doesn't, however, just get added to some fanboy imaginary "transfer pot".

I can pretty much confirm, with 100% certainty to two decimal points, that the first part of this assertion is total and utter b0ll0cks. If the "budget" was £91m, we have spent a lot of that already on player salaries (and the new contracts that so many have signed are high). As for the second part re: Benali, I have no idea.

Sounds about right. Palace about 65% to go down, Saints about 12%.

4th place for me. Because it would (probably) indicate a sensational long-term future for the club. If we are strong enough to get 4th in the league next year, we'll win a cup soon enough, I'd think. If we just have a single great CUp run, but end up 14th again, that would count as a great season, but wouldn't really mean we're moving forwards in a big way.

This. Surely any budget agreed with the Liebherrs is simply a playing staff budget - combining transfers and wages. Or is the trust happy for us to pay limitless wages to anyone we sign on a free?
