You can't expect to have half a team of academy players if each season we selling our best couple of players to fund a rebuild of the squad. You would need to buck this trend IMO if you wanted to achieve 50% academy

Or maybe that they have been asked not to mention about possible transfers until at medical stage. Doesn't mean we have one almost there.

If Koeman was confident of new signings before the game on Thursday I imagine we would be past a bid stage with said player for that to happen

Traditional tends to be for home kits. I think everyone would moan If year after year the kits were the same traditional colour and style and only the slightest tweak. All for the away kit being a little different each year.

Turnbull off on loan to Swindon again for another season.

Playing regular football at L1 or Championship level is going to be more beneficial for a player then U21 games for us. If the have a good season in the championship then the following season they should be ready for our squad the next year.

It's funny people believe what they want to when it comes to buying/selling players. Who is to say we are actually interested in all of these players the papers claim we are?!

A midfield three of Claise, Big Vic and Wijinaldum would be a very strong line up for us! .
