I can't see why not. It's not as though there is a backup team still at the club. Makes sense to allow him to bring in who he wants to work with.

Well he is back from his holiday in Turkey today, let's hope he is flying back to the UK and the deal can be announced shortly. Wonder if the "paperwork" Les was referring to is in relation to sorting out his backroom team?

Asked about transfer dealings. Apparently didn't get much money at feyonord so couldn't judge him. Used the youth set up and brought through the players now in dutch World Cup squad.

He wasn't sure because didn't know too much about us. Said there are some good youngsters Koeman might like to bring, Depay, Klaassen, Boetius, Vilhena and Promes also have a good future and will attract attention.

De Vrij he thinks if he continues to improve could be one of the best in Europe in a few years. Says he might not be physical enough yet for the EPL. Thinks Claise to us would be a good move for him

He wasn't sure as two coaches have signed new deals so unlikely to now leave. Thinks he will have to start with new staff.

Martins Indl didn't have a great season and was lucky to make the squad. Thinks Claise and De Vrij will leave after the worldcup. Lazio have been monitoring Claise lots last season

pelle is 6'4 apparently and scored and set up loads for feyonord last season apparently ( sound familiar?) although lost the captaincy due to his temper and reaction after being sent off ( sound familiar?) Just asking about De Vrij Martins Indl and Caise now

Was just chatting to a feyonord fan and asked him a bit about Koeman; tactical he is great. In his first year at Feyenoord we won all the big games because he was making smart tactical changes. He wants to play attractive football, but if necessary he can make changes. End of this season Feyenoord played some difficult away games with 5 defenders to have more control. At his last interview as coach of Feyenoord he said that he really wants to buy our striker Graziano Pelle at his new club. All sounds good. If anyone would like me to ask anything else just ask.

We could have a dutch international dream team. Have Van der Saar as keeper coach, Bergkamp as assistant and Blind* as first team coach. *can help us get his son to join us too then :-)

Going by Les Reed's recent interview, he said they were taking things like International,Champions League, Europa League and League Titles into consideration. Bruce fails on all those so would be surprised if we would then appoint someone who only has championship and premiership experience.
