Telegraph tomorrow confirms we have had formal talks with Koeman and aim to appoint a manager by end of next week.

Surely they won't be buying Shaw then. He wouldn't go there to be backup to Evra and Evra wouldn't have signed a new deal to be back up to Shaw. Hopefully it'll die down with this one now. Probably try again next summer now.

I'd take a punt on him for that. He was great for Swansea, going to City was always a mistake. Get his confidence back up and I think he would do well for us. Another option and some pace too
