Ok, fair enough, I'll give you the courtesy of a reasoned reply. Yes, your opinion is valid, as is Noodles, as is mine and everyone else's. However, some of the comments and bedwetting on here is absolutely incredible. I responded in amazement because I was dumbfounded as to how anyone could make an assessment on Lallana without a competitive ball being kicked. IMO, Lallana has been and continues to be a great asset and servant of this football club and whilst that doesn't absolve him of any criticism, some of the crap I read on here is ludicrous.

It's nothing to do with who he plays for and who I support; AL has attributes which very few Premier League midfielders possess and this season, he'll excel and prove that statement correct. Over the past two years, he's come on incredibly from being a perennial scuffer and waif-like winger to something resembling a future England player. Just because Stuart Pearce doesn't consider him blessed enough to chug around his midfield passing backwards, doesn't mean he's not as good as Jordan Henderson. Or Cleverley. If you're a good player, you're a good player - doesn't matter the level you're playing at.
