This is the thing that annoys me, you see... they are clearly insolvent, have continuously stuck two fingers up to everyone in the PL, the FL and in essence, world football. Why on earth haven't they been shut down?
-
Guys, thanks for the responses, very heartening. Funny thing is, I wouldn't feel any real animosity towards them at all (perhaps some sympathy) but the way they have acted, wriggling, cheating, conniving and conspiring whilst also playing the hard-done-by card over and over and over again. Oh, and the fans true grasp of the situation is aboslutely shocking. What a bunch of whinging, misguided babies they are...

If there are no obvious credible buyers, and Chainrai doesn't want that sh1theap of a football club... there is still a chance they'd die, right? Hope so... I f()cking hate them.
-
Ah, but do you get to pay his wages for the remainder of the season? I want to properly ripped off, I don't want it done half-arsed.

OK. Self proclaimed 'best fans in the world'. Can't even fill their ground at full price. Or half price. Or kids for a quid. Can't even fill their ground when their club needs it the most. Only sing when the cameras are there. John PFC W******d. Oh... and the fact they have blamed everyone other than their own club for the meltdown. Odious band of tarmaccing, fortune telling mongoloids.

I really hope that scummy, disgusting little club dies. Once more, they are clearly insolvent. Once more, they have the rules bent for them. And please, don't get me started on the fans....

I think it was for two seasons running we were 4th around boxing day?

Martin Samuel, Daily Mail on Coretese: "self serving" and a "buffoon"
Crab Lungs replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Why can't they be a bit more like Merrington and be gracious with what we've got? Aside from our league placing (which will change, in time) we are in one of the most enviable positions in the country... -

Oh yes, what a terrible job Cortese has done. Definitely comparable to the likes of Gaydamak, Mandaric, Storrie, SaF, Al-Mirage. And he's quite right - what right has a successful banker to come in and lecture us about the finances of football? About as much as you, hypocrite. -
If my memory serves me correctly.... didn't Android say they had 26 potential buyers? Surely they couldn't have all disappeared into thin air? On another note, I was very disappointed my LemonParty consortium never heard anything back.

I *think* scouts can be pretty much freelance and work for anyone... bit of a conflict of interest if so though :-o -
Gah.... this is even if we win every game and a few bloopers from the rest....

I'm getting nowhere with the carriers, nowhere. They couldn't be any more disinterested. As expected really, to be honest. Silly b0ll0cks at work still wants to find a solution with the carriers themselves though, as opposed to going through an SMS gateway provider etc... contrary to my incessant advice...

Hi, thanks again for all the replies. Once more, we're looking for someone (or a company) who could create the application for the iphone and blackberry models. The solution we're looking for is similar to the Facebook application on those models as its for a social networking site

So, Portsmouth win with an illegal team, probably condemning a fellow side to relegation with them. I can only hope justice catches up with that disgusting little football club. 16,000 at home, lmao. Best support in the world....

Does anyone here develop or know anyone that develops iPhone and Blackberry applications? Once more, before I trawl and outsource this task to someone on the net, I was wondering if there was anyone out there on here who can do this? If so, please do let me know... :-) Thanks

Hello all, thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going to put it to the boss again and if he doesn't listen this time then he can do it himself. Stand by for another WW-related query... :S

I was only joking when I mentioned the 'peoples republic' thing. so, what do they suggest when they get their new found independence? No tax policy? Will they have to loan their own national team players in? National stadium as Fratton Park? Sounds like some kind of european version of Mogadishu.

Hi... Currently undertaking a particularly tasking job which is causing me a few headaches. Basically, the social networking site I work for is looking to integrate and SMS function to enable users to send/receive messages through the site. I've spoken to many 3rd party companies like Clickatell, Kapow! etc but my boss insists that he would prefer that we go straight to the carrier themselves. Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone here with some degree on knowledge in implementing SMS technology within our site or someone who might be able to point me in the right direction with whom I need to speak to as I'm going round in circles. Yes, I know, I've posted this on a football forum. I'm at my wits end. Serious answers only please.

As you can see, I am renowned for my mediating.

A frighteningly similar situation to having a dog turd on your front lawn and no-one wanting to pick it up?

I wish I had the strength left to respond in full to the latest developments, but I don't. All I can see is that disgusting, pathetic little club slinker off without any real punishment of note that truly matches their crime. They've been insolvent for years, they've cheated, bribed, ducked and dived their way around things and now it's finally caught up with them - but only to an extent. During the whole duration of this situation they have repeatedly attempted to blame everyone else other than themselves, they've spent money they haven't got (thus weakening their rivals) and now Avram is threatening to field a weakened team? What a f()cking tosser. Their fans rank among the most moronic, blinkered fans in the country (see Corp Ho for a prime example). Not only this, but their world famous 'best supporters in the world' are once again showing their real colours (especially when the Sky cameras are not there). In reality, they are no more than a ****-poor few thousand gypsies with mental problems (or a few hundred if they're away from home). Worse still has been the constant 'woe is me' bleating that has been emanating from that part of the world ever since things turned a bit sour. I've never seen such a group of fans (and the manager, to be fair) so misguided in their beliefs. What is worse though, I've never seen so many people acting a bunch of little girls over it. Despite all the conniving, cheating and alleged laundering, they are actually convinced they are being hard done by. This rotting cesspit of a football club deserves nothing more than immediate expulsion and winding up, followed by jail for all the perpetrators.

It is, but it doesn't involve Manchester United or Liverpool - so this will be forgotten in 2 weeks.

I thought Redknapp was an excellent player - far better than the likes of Paul Ince and David Batty. The thing that help Redknapp back was his injuries. He could be as combative as Ince and Batty without the 'guvnor' swagger, he had a fantastic range of passing (unlike the above) and could also a hit a ball as well. IMHO ;-) Right, I'm off to pump Louise.
