So, Portsmouth win with an illegal team, probably condemning a fellow side to relegation with them. I can only hope justice catches up with that disgusting little football club. 16,000 at home, lmao. Best support in the world....

Does anyone here develop or know anyone that develops iPhone and Blackberry applications? Once more, before I trawl and outsource this task to someone on the net, I was wondering if there was anyone out there on here who can do this? If so, please do let me know... :-) Thanks

Hello all, thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going to put it to the boss again and if he doesn't listen this time then he can do it himself. Stand by for another WW-related query... :S

I was only joking when I mentioned the 'peoples republic' thing. so, what do they suggest when they get their new found independence? No tax policy? Will they have to loan their own national team players in? National stadium as Fratton Park? Sounds like some kind of european version of Mogadishu.

Hi... Currently undertaking a particularly tasking job which is causing me a few headaches. Basically, the social networking site I work for is looking to integrate and SMS function to enable users to send/receive messages through the site. I've spoken to many 3rd party companies like Clickatell, Kapow! etc but my boss insists that he would prefer that we go straight to the carrier themselves. Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone here with some degree on knowledge in implementing SMS technology within our site or someone who might be able to point me in the right direction with whom I need to speak to as I'm going round in circles. Yes, I know, I've posted this on a football forum. I'm at my wits end. Serious answers only please.

As you can see, I am renowned for my mediating.

A frighteningly similar situation to having a dog turd on your front lawn and no-one wanting to pick it up?

I wish I had the strength left to respond in full to the latest developments, but I don't. All I can see is that disgusting, pathetic little club slinker off without any real punishment of note that truly matches their crime. They've been insolvent for years, they've cheated, bribed, ducked and dived their way around things and now it's finally caught up with them - but only to an extent. During the whole duration of this situation they have repeatedly attempted to blame everyone else other than themselves, they've spent money they haven't got (thus weakening their rivals) and now Avram is threatening to field a weakened team? What a f()cking tosser. Their fans rank among the most moronic, blinkered fans in the country (see Corp Ho for a prime example). Not only this, but their world famous 'best supporters in the world' are once again showing their real colours (especially when the Sky cameras are not there). In reality, they are no more than a ****-poor few thousand gypsies with mental problems (or a few hundred if they're away from home). Worse still has been the constant 'woe is me' bleating that has been emanating from that part of the world ever since things turned a bit sour. I've never seen such a group of fans (and the manager, to be fair) so misguided in their beliefs. What is worse though, I've never seen so many people acting a bunch of little girls over it. Despite all the conniving, cheating and alleged laundering, they are actually convinced they are being hard done by. This rotting cesspit of a football club deserves nothing more than immediate expulsion and winding up, followed by jail for all the perpetrators.

It is, but it doesn't involve Manchester United or Liverpool - so this will be forgotten in 2 weeks.

I thought Redknapp was an excellent player - far better than the likes of Paul Ince and David Batty. The thing that help Redknapp back was his injuries. He could be as combative as Ince and Batty without the 'guvnor' swagger, he had a fantastic range of passing (unlike the above) and could also a hit a ball as well. IMHO ;-) Right, I'm off to pump Louise.

I can barely read this thread any more... that sh1tty little club just repulses me so much. It should have been shut down, irrespective of whatever the official ruling of their situation. They were insolvent - they have been for probably 2-3 years. They've pretty much 'escaped', haven't they?
-
Whilst he undoubtedly likes the sound of his own voice, I don't mind JR. Thought that although his legs had gone whilst he was with us, he was still a good player and gave it his all..

You are bang on there... I really enjoy Jonathan Ross when he's taking the ****, but if he gets a character he's not sure about he completely bottles it. I remember his interview with 50 Cent... he couldn't have climbed up his arse further if he'd tried!
-
What are great interview and I can't help but like his arse-kicking attitude. A few whingey Saints fans nitpicking, especially since how well things have turned out. Some of the moans were quite frankly, pathetic all things considered. We should be more bloody appreciative, frankly. Fantastically intelligent Q and A... compare that to the Skates forums :-o

Ah, thanks for reminding me of its existence on the interweb.

Thank god there are other people out there who don't find him funny. Listening to Jonathan Ross say that he was one of the funniest people in Britain left me :-o and I pretty much lost all respect for Ross built up over the years, enjoying his chat show. All in that one, misguided moment. That other w4nker he used to knock around with too... just as unfunny. Does anyone remember their live show? I think it got flamed after a couple of episodes...
-
I think Dalek's right in what he is saying - I don't think we would have suffered a poor 04-05 and subsequent relegation. However, who knows what would have happened after that? 05-06? 06-07? We could have been relegated... Sadly, no-one will ever know. I've no doubt Hoddle would have made a better first of it than Sturrock, Wigley, Redknapp....

LMAO, just realised the Skates 'backing' What a bunch of c()nts they are.

Royal Pier/Town Quay Waterfront Redevelopment

I do agree but I wouldn't worry too much - this will be shelved in a few weeks time and we'll be moving on to the next architects design as a front-page wowzer. -

Lol, every 1-2 weeks SCC come up with 'visions of the future' - problem is, its a far-sighted vision from the most short-sighted council in the world. Expect flats. Yes, more flats. Or office space. We need more young professionals with nothing to do. -
Well, we'll have to remove 15,000 of the seats so they can play at 'full capacity' every match

Hmmm, he's OK but I have to say my favourite is Rhod Gilbert
