Poor Steve Claridge - constantly reiterating the harsh truths to a frothy-mouthed group of simpletons who just couldn't figure who to point the blame at. "It's Storrie!" Like I said above, if AFC Portsmouth is an eventuality out of all this then Steve Claridge would be an ideal man in some kind of role at the club. Genuine, articulate and painstakingly honest - he'd definitely be a welcome change to the current setup of crooks they've got now. In fact, he'd be a massive improvement on the current lot.

I do agree that the transfers need to be more transparent and monies 'ratified' but in the current system, I'd hate to see the PL have authority over the cash - they're as bent as Portsmouth.

They are insolvent - if requesting to sell players outside the window isn't indication enough alone, then Courts only have to go back over the past few months and the relatively obvious cash-flow problems with wages, £11m HMRC, Gaydamak, Chainrai money etc. They're ****ing insolvent. And even if they are permitted and do sell one or two players - what happens next month? And the month after that? F()cking disgrace - they should be closed down.
