  1. Pay up pompey pompey pay up...
  2. Claridge, I like. He's always been fair to both us and them - despite him being a thoroughbred Skate. Storrie.... absolute c()nt.
  3. I do agree that the transfers need to be more transparent and monies 'ratified' but in the current system, I'd hate to see the PL have authority over the cash - they're as bent as Portsmouth.
  4. Premier League pretty selective in their club overviews... http://www.premierleague.com/page/portsmouth
  5. I posted this on another thread... I am too angry to list all the things wrong with the Premier League (especially after they just fined Wolves for fielding a 'weakened' team at Man Utd!)... so it's quite obvious, it needs an overhaul, big time. "Er, I suppose they are claiming that it devalued the PL? Maybe you should fine the Skates (not that would be a lot of use), Bolton and Wigan for paltry crowds and the bigger sides for having the audacity to rotate their squads. ****ing EPL, don't forget.. they lifted the embargo on an insolvent football club, bottled dealing with the Skates plea to sell players and actively tried to bail them out with money. I don't only hope the Skates die soon, but I f()cking hope the Premier League collapses on its fat, bloated self. Disgrace. "

  7. Wouldn't mind a butchers through any of this lot... ;-) http://www.ukdata.com/creditreports/viewCompanyDetails.do?companyId=03747237&only-match=1
  8. sweepstake on the attendance, anyone?
  9. They are insolvent - if requesting to sell players outside the window isn't indication enough alone, then Courts only have to go back over the past few months and the relatively obvious cash-flow problems with wages, £11m HMRC, Gaydamak, Chainrai money etc. They're ****ing insolvent. And even if they are permitted and do sell one or two players - what happens next month? And the month after that? F()cking disgrace - they should be closed down.
  10. I thought about Griff last night :-o I had no idea why, it just popped into my head, now I know why :-o RIP Griff, Chief Fireman :-)
  11. IMO, he's never been more than a sprinter with very average football skills and easy-to-shatter confidence.
  12. Hello... this really is a very long shot but does anyone know where I can get 'free' stock footage from? Not just royalty-free footage, but also free to download? I'm not asking for HD quality or a particular subject or genre, just a collection of something, somewhere for free - I'll do the rest Tall ask, I know... but if anyone can help or advise, please let me know Thanks
  13. Hmmmm... I wonder if they're considering having another pop?
  14. I think the Judge just got a really strong whiff of bullsh1t
  15. I think we'll hear something before March 1st, depending on whether they can stop laughing in time
  16. lol! :d:d
  17. Isn't the valuation of players (legally) calculated by their contract value? I'm sure I saw something that alluded to it? And lol, they won't be able to include loan player valuations, then they have to factor in all of the players they still have outstanding debts for! And the great news is, they've sold most of their high earners Except James and Utaka, of course
  18. So, if Directors now know, I'm assuming Storrie-teller will be handing in his resignation, followed by a swift and emotional ballad of 'I did it all for Portsmouth'
  19. March 2010, but no idea on exact date - sorry! Aus and US get it just a bit before us, I believe..
  20. I could never understand why Davenport was poor for us, he was immense at Coventry and had all the makings of a real top-class centre half. Probably didn't help that he was playing alongside Jakobsson, who, for me, was one of the worst centre halves I have seen at Saints
  21. Well, it appears more of the disgusting behaviour synomymous with Portsmouth football club has become apparent today. Disgraceful.
  22. That is one of the best descriptions I have ever read of anyone, ever.
  23. Just wondering... does anyone else get the feeling that if we did a build a bigger ground, more people will come? I have no statistical analysis to back this up other than going from 15,000 (sometimes under that) at The Dell to 30,000... and in the past, Sunderland regularly filled out their 48,000 seater in the Champ? More tickets, better pricing, bigger crowd?
  24. I like the city, it has a lot more going for it than Southampton and like someone said on here, there has been plenty more re-generation. However, the club and its fans can rot in hell.
  25. I'm absolutely sure it will cause 'outrage' among the muslim community about being 'stereotyped', once again taking on the 'societies victim' role...
