Lol. Funniest club ever.

Rather 1 x Nicola Cortese than any of the other sponging bastards we've had over the years. Wiseman, Askham, McMenemy... all taking from the club with continuous ****-poor results. In other words, it was always going to be a culture shock for anyone at the club who may have been used to a more carefree, relaxed attitude. An attitude, perhaps, that mirrored results on the pitch? There is a difference between an arse-kicker who means well and an arse-kicker who does it for their own perverse pleasure. I don't believe for a second most top businesses are run by evil bullies - but most top bods are likely to share a common gene that makes them so successful in whatever they do. I think NC is simply showing he is not a person who is content with massaging egos and watching other people build while he leans back in a deckchair. He's already shown he won't be cowed by The Echo and won't be detracted from his vision. Is it a coincidence that these ‘rumours’ about NC has surfaced almost straight after the Echo fallout?

I know Jackanory (if it is who I think it is!!!) and I'm sure he was mates with Brian Stock at school... PS: He's a genuine ITK.

Do I really have to explain this to you? A dog doesn't just rip and tear things up on purpose - you'd find it's normally a puppy (who knows no better but then is taught not to do those things) or a dog that has behaviour issues because it has been insufficiently trained. On rare ocassions, dogs do 'flip-out' and in certain breeds that is more common than others. On ocassions, dogs react because they were provoked. Irrespective, if a dog is managed properly, loved and cared for then you will find that there isno better, loyal or more loving companion in the whole wide world.

That is something to do with the dogs age I suspect, and its owner. Dogs, if trained properly don't do that.

I think I saw enough exposed clunge to last me a lifetime on NYE. I probably weirded a few out by walking past several times on my travels but I was simply trying to muster the bottle to 'try' one of the RDL girls. I've read alot of recommendations/do's/don'ts/etiquette tips amd reviews on the RDL so knew exactly what to look for and what to expect, but I just couldn't override my morals and mentality with my primal instincts! I intend to return though - and this time, I'll mean business. Amazing, amazing fun though - I do intend to actually visit many of the museums next time and as many of you are probably aware, Amsterdam has sooooo many. I will probably return on my own in Spring, and then for a stag in June/July. Loved all the girls tapping the glass and beckoning me to join them in their booths though... despite them most likely to be only wanting my money, it was hard not to feel... erm, honoured. I must have walked past the museum a few times without even noticing, quite shockingly. Assuming it wasn't open when I did walk past though, as I was lurking around the Dam when most visiting hours for museums had closed!

The blokes an aboslute crook and to first deny he had any knowledge of overspending (as a CEO) and then subsequently admit he had knowledge but was overruled is an absolute disgrace. If he felt that bad about it he would have walked and made a statement about it. That is of course, if he really did care. Slimeball.

If we get the Skates at home in the next round and beat them (assuming they beat Coventry), that could be the catalyst for a resurgence in our season. Once the team see 30,000 packed house and hear the noise, I doubt they couldn't help but be absolutely inspired. A Pardew rallycry pre-derby would also crank the fans, the city and the team up a few notches too.

Hey everyone 'amsterdam' thank you for the offer, I intend to return in July time for more cultural experiences and expeditions but settled for a rather low-key (or not) evening in Dam Square as well as another tour of the RDL. Couldn't muster the bottle to enter one of the girls booths despite the overbearing temptation - that said, there was plenty of fun had both sides of the glass. Plenty of gesturing though I have to say I just couldn't make the final step inside. Hoepfully, there will be a next time! Met many amazingly friendly people and the atmosphere was incredible - the fact Dammers could just turn up to the square and set fireworks off in their hands was a shock but highly amusing! Yeah, I picked Hoopdorf not really knowing the region and the taxis were expensive but we cut a deal with a taxi driver we met on our first night to keep the costs down as much as we could. He's happy too - he gets repeat business when we return and he was, like everyone we met, so open and friendly. The girls in the RDL, on the whole, we stunning. Hopefully July might bring a change of heart as well as a extra dosage of mettle!

Agree with many likes/dislikes so far, but another 'like' for me would be Ian Darke.
