Hmmm, you won't find a specialist gaming laptop for less than a grand. If you mean you want to play games that aren't solely based around graphics like Company Of Heroes, Sims, FM etc I'd suggest a high spec processor and at least 4GB ram, with a decent video card too. Would probably be able to knock something together on the Dell site for around 800 quid... and there is plenty of Dell discount codes online around to bring it down a bit further.

Mr Brightside, so uplifting for such a sad song

Couldn't find any thread on this and didn't want to start a new one so thought I would post my grievance here - seemed the most apt. I would love to know who the morons were who said Billy Davies teams play nothing but rubbish... Just reminded of what a good manager he is by watching Forest v Toon at the moment, his team are playing some cracking stuff - like his team at Preston did. Derby played to their strengths, and to have a manager recognise and adapt to the players at his disposal is a quality, not a strength. Regardless.... I just wanted to vent that...

Um, successfully advising experts on sports purchases for a long duration of his career should count for something....

Lolz.... Gotta be some more we've seen over the past few years....

Also featured - an interview with Kevin Davis, Kelvin Davies and Paul Wooton.

It's very sad and for a fleeting moment in my life, I was concerned. But... what is it with people who feel the need to be the first or be seen professing their condolences about someone they've never given a ****e about, never known and are likely to forget in the next thirty minutes when they tuck into their roast dinners? Facebook already has about fifty groups of people scrambling to write the most heartfelt obituaries but I'd put money on them just switching their PC's off when they're done and forgetting all about it. I don't know if I'm in the minority, but what is it with over-the-top outcry of public grief from people? It looks like a bloody competition half the time.... Regardless, RIP Steven.

Oh, and you've never got anything wrong? :smt100 Anyway Corpy, I would LOVE for you to prove how you were 'correct' about our little attendance spat. Please tell me, have we been in a lower division than you in the past four years? Yes we have. Have we had a larger attendances than you? Yes we have. Predominantly, did Saints have higher attendances than you lot for the past, say, thirty years? Yes we did. Your percentages crap means absolutely nothing, and you know it. You could easily apply your ridiculous theory to a club with a 10 person capacity stadium. They might get 9 people there to watch them a week, obviously meaning 90% of their capacity. A club with a 70,000 seater might only get 7,000, meaning only 10% of the capacity... in your warped perception of events, the club with the smaller ground and attendance is bigger than then one who actually receives 6,991 more fans. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...... So please, please, please revise your theory or... actually, don't. I enjoy watching you wriggle and squirm.

Great signing, better than Saganowski IMO... and more importantly, a better attitude. Perfect foil for Lambo. Just Moritz Volz to go and my Saints 11 will be complete

The Boom Boom Boom version I wrote is quite possibly the best terrace chant wrote this decade. Especially for the first line of the verse.

Saints 2-2 (5-3 on pens) Torquay - Match Reaction
Crab Lungs replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
I could have told anyone for free that Perry is rubbish, Thomas limited and Gillett woefully short of confidence. OK, didn't go but I've seen enough of these players to form a pretty balanced opinon, and from the reports on here I'm pretty much on the money. Not a great fan of Gillett but would imagine he is unfancied under Pardew and therefore pretty low. Irrespective, like The9 said, can't help but think the game was setting him up for a bit of a fall. Anyway, it's clear to say we've probably only got about max 14 players who can play consistently to the standard of L1 (or Champ) and the rest are duffers. -
It's worth noting that Souness also thought Boumsong was a good player too :-o Having said that and despite him being a very average manager, his punditry is always articulate and reasoned - I can only assume his man-management and judgement held him back.

Just came through the post this morning... I've got a couple of books ahead of it to read but I've read many positive reviews on it. Has anyone else read it? Loved the concept and it'll make for a pleasant change from the normal zombie/post-apocalyptic genres I consume..
-
I actually PREFER that design to the one we had :-o
-
This'll run folks. This'll run. They ain't safe yet.
-
Nope, but you are in for a fookin' long wait to get it back. Write to them and keep doing so, they will eventually give you it back and respond to you... Eventually.
-
Why has no-one called him 'Wooton' on this thread yet?
-
Wow, funny how the skates all return when there is a glimmer of good news eh? Still, there aren't many of them - which kind of justifies the 'blue few' tag...
-
definitely, Holmes is awesome Bit gutted he's hardly got any match time though, he could potentially play way above this level......
-
Next target - get out of the bloody relegation zone
