That was an absolute delight to read, it sent shivers down my spine. I really hope, like my message a couple of weeks back, we can all once more unite again. With Matt in any role, we can. I know a few of you on here actually doubt his credentials but this would be no Shearer fiasco - Matt isn't a gob****e, he knows his stuff - any of you who watch Sky Sports will agree he is probably the most articulate pundit on there. Shearer, well... he was a boring and dumb pundit and that transferred to his brief management stint. Believe me, Matt's 'got it', Shearer hasn't. And please, I don't want to hear Paul Ince's name mentioned again, either. Bluuuurgh, gob****e... Still, I'd settle for WGS seeing as we are all in dreamland atm :-) Can't wait for the new season, I really want to be back in the UK for the start!!!

You have to be facking mental to think Southampton is a interesting/good city. It's violent, horribly planned, grey and teeming with very obnoxious folk. Strangely, I miss it. :S

Ridiculous. Sorry, but he is quality player... local lad... and good luck to him if he goes. Deserves better than his own fans slagging him off.

I don't think people forgot that... I think they were specifically referring to the players not being paid... and rightly so. The staff should be the priority, not the underperforming players on ridiculous, undeserved wages.

Absolutely gutted those wasters are getting paid. Ah well, the staff are at least deserving, even if the players are not..

Gob****e like Paul Ince. No thank you. Actually, a gob****e is probably a bit harsh, that should just been reserved for Paul Ince. But Shearer is like Southgate, tries to sound intelligent, says the right things, is very humble but hasn't got a fecking clue. Whilst Shearer and Southgate convincingly look like they know what they are doing or saying, Ince sounds like someone with limited vocab, devoid of any man management skills or ideas on 'patterning play.' Anyone who knows anything can clearly see that he cannot 'coach' a team or make get the best out of a team like a Martin O'Neill, Gordon Strachan etc. They are just 'names', that's all.
