  1. I have more Yucko if you want it, boys...
  2. Malbranque, Fletcher, Saha... De Pedro? Andy Reid. Locally, in my time, Brian Stock (who was a year above me in school) and Brian Howard, who I played with at local level football for a time. Damn Howard, his left foot was slightly better than mine!

  6. Gob****e like Paul Ince. No thank you. Actually, a gob****e is probably a bit harsh, that should just been reserved for Paul Ince. But Shearer is like Southgate, tries to sound intelligent, says the right things, is very humble but hasn't got a fecking clue. Whilst Shearer and Southgate convincingly look like they know what they are doing or saying, Ince sounds like someone with limited vocab, devoid of any man management skills or ideas on 'patterning play.' Anyone who knows anything can clearly see that he cannot 'coach' a team or make get the best out of a team like a Martin O'Neill, Gordon Strachan etc. They are just 'names', that's all.

    Airsoft

http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/index.html Wouldn't mind a bit of that. Shame it's all a bit pally though. Wouldn't mind doing some torturing or a bit of friendly fire on the yank teams. Never mind
  8. Lol
  9. LOL... yeah, I could try that. Having said that, Marbella 'Resdential thingymejigs' aren't exactly up to much scratch either. In fact, they are probably worse.
  10. Yes, I KNOW it will not happen but I was wondering what the true potential for a club like this would have? Just opinions, observations etc... that's all...
  11. That unfortunately immortalised peoples cautious perceptions of The Trust. OMG, how funny was the thread? Why, oh why, wasn't it saved? The answers and reactions were superb. Can't we have a 'Ted Bates Statue - Revisted' a couple of years on??? I mean, we can never replicate the comments and genuine shock but we can at least recount some of the posts...
  12. Love your avatar, Stanley!
  13. So, this boils down to SCC again not putting us forward? I would not be surprised, their lack of ambition is only surpassed by their greed and stupidity...
  14. I lol at the people who kept checking the progress of it and saying 'Yeah, looks amazing - nothing wrong here!'
  15. That was so very pleasing.
  16. Big LOL
  17. Now, I know this will never happen. Too many connotations and factors make this idea practically possible but out of interest, I would love to know how everyone on here would feel about something like this, if it was a viable and real alternative or option. For example, what if both fans from both sides 'accepted' this? Saints' and Pompey's collective debt was written off/paid off for whatever reasons on the basis that we merge. And so, Solent United is formed. What if a new ground was built between the cities, where would it be? How many should it hold intially? What is the potential for a 'superclub' to rival the Premier Leagues biggest? Would players want to play and live in this part of the UK as opposed to the North? Just how much potential would this club realistically? What would the home and away kits be? Would the youth system have a bigger and better pool of players to choose from in the surrounding areas? Now, I would love a summary or hypothetical response from anyone who has wondered this before? Yes, it's practically impossible for this to happen but what if it wasn't - and it happened? Solent United ... what is their potential? I'm curious to see what other people think.... I'll begin. I suppose Fareham way would be the obvious candidate for a new ground, with links both ways close to the motorway... capacity? For starters, probably 40,000-45,000 with room for expansion if need be. Giving the right backing and with the club being based close to London, having excellent international transport links and having beautiful surrounding areas, I don't see why any player wouldn't want to play for SU, given the right backing and vision etc. I think the best thing about this is John PFC Westwood certainly wouldn't approve so at least we'd be rid of him and that ****ing cowbell...
  18. Yes, I did consider putting it on a separate thread... infact, I will do now.
  19. WTF??? Walkers Stadium? Errrrrrrrrr...... was the CoMs mentioned? If not, it should have been. Or can't you have two stadiums from the city or some ghey regulation like that?
  20. I actually think it looks quite cool. Question, hypothetical one at best. What if this happened? Say, the fans of both sides 'accepted' this. SMS and Pompey's debt was written off for whatever reasons... Solent United was formed... A new ground built halfway between the two cities... would 'SU' ever be able to compete with the best in the Prem or be capable of the Champions League? Would it be a place where players would want to play? How big COULD the gates at the new club be? What is the real, honest potential of the SU? Obviously, it'll never happen like I said above but I'm just asking.... and curious to other peoples opinions...
  21. lmfao
  22. Your post made me ride the roflcopter.
  23. Well that wasn't a very nice read lol
  24. OK, I would be really worried if we got Ince. Such a brainless gob****e.
