  1. The formation and the match was so good I said it twice.
  2. If Lallana is out, why don't we play the diamond formation as against Blackpool as we did against Blackpool but with Gully in the hole instead of Lallana? Hassling an Ince team high up the pitch and keep the middle of the pitch tight is not a bad idea either. It should give us plenty of the ball and frustrate them as well. We might even force him to write ‘shoot’ on a note pad as well or maybe even pass.
  3. (joy division - love will tear you apart) The ox, the ox will tear you apart again The ox, the ox will tear you apart again.
  4. A drum and a stupid 'where's Wally' hat should surfice.
  5. We have now started singing ‘Play up Pompey’. If you want to make a big impression just start this chant at the top of you voice. The Mrs. Will love the reaction…honest
  6. A big problem is that it is the family enclosure and only has the Itchen to banter with....its not going to happen.
  7. Plus he struts around on a hog with SWP like some kind of helps angel. He doesn't exactly look like he dreads going to work on a Monday morning.
  8. Viva Lallana!
  9. Loads of papers now saying he has been sacked. There is no smoke without fire. That's why top of the pops was cancelled.
  10. But can we get him “playing with a smile on his face”?. That seems to be priority number 1 (as well as winning games of football of course). So far Lallana and Lambert are both playing with a smile on their face. Maybe if we can get the whole team doing it we can freak out the opposition into thinking we are mental.
  11. Born in Winchester but lived in Chandlers Ford until I was about 9 years old. I was then moved up north to a small town near Crewe in Cheshire (where I still live) I still go to about 5 or 6 home games every season and most of the northern away games plus a few in London when I can. I even drag along some of my Middlesbrough, Norwich, Swansea, Leeds, Man Utd and Stoke supporting mates from school to a few away games so i can reduce the train prices using my railcard. No way do you need an SO postcode to support saints! As Train prices are rising (and I'm nearly 16 so they will soon double ), would anyone be interested in hiring coaches/mini buses for Northern Saints around the Manchester area? Before any of you say, I'm on my brother's account who used to live in Japan, hence 'Tokyo-Saint'
  12. The Adkins comments seem to be realistic to be fair to the mail. I think they have just cut off the but where he mentions coming into the building and having an honest set of lads all working as a group to win games of football.
  13. Stop avoiding the question Nigel. You're are like a 2nd rate MP. Just tell us what your feckng budget is you cvnt!
  14. Do you have a budget Nigel? Do you?
  15. Griffo 1-4 Tokyo-Saint Griffo 5-1 Tokyo-Saint Bad connection though
  16. Tracksuits delivered to WGS house, Martin O'neil has just rented a house in Winchester. 2nd was Keizer Souze....another poster commented he had a good record as an ITK as well hahaha
  17. Mountain lasses can take it!
  18. Count me in: Saint---Robbie
  19. Look, it simply about winning games of football. Nigel Adkins knows that winning games of football is all that counts and since he has come into the building he has worked very hard so that we win games of football. Nigel Adkins has a good set of lads who are all working hard to win games of football and when we win games of football Nigel Adkins will make the fans very happy. This club is special with a good support lets all work together and win some games of football.
  20. Last year I parked outside a house just before the right turn on to the industrial estate the ground is on. There are loads of places but don’t park at the MacDonald’s or the supermarket (I think ASDA) as you will get a ticket. A lot of residential places before you go on to the estate though and they hardly pull a large crowd.
  21. Le tissier put pen to paper and signed for Spurs, it was his Mrs that persuaded him to change his mind. Kelvin was pretty much the same as was Baird. Often was comes across as loyalty with footballers is just down to their wife/girlfriend not wanting to move. I don’t believe there is any loyalty in football with the possible exception of a few scoucers playing at a strong team and on high wages.
  22. For those who don't know, the Bescot stadium has its own train station. Not sure if it has been mentioned already but i can't be bothered to look. Any idea how many tickets have been sold?
  23. I went to see Arsenal last week as my company has some corporate tickets. I applauded when they scored….Could that be counted as supporting at a higher level?
  24. Bowers-sfc (Roma) or anyone else in my group, I am free most of this week to play my games
  25. Ronaldo looks to be having a hard time at Madrid as well. A bit of a ponce I know but could be a good long term replacement for lambert or at least cover until he gets his form back.
