  1. It won't be on any channels that I can get here. So, does anyone know any online links? Will it be on at Justins?
  2. I am certain you have overestimated their possible income. From the gate receipts you need to minus the 9-10k season ticket holders whose money has already come and gone; no way would they fill Farton again, so more likely average crowds of 16k, many of which would be kids and free tickets; and, of course, if Saturday goes ahead we will spank them! Apart from that, and I feel this is the crucial factor that the Judge will take into account, I fully agree that there is no way they are capable as operating as a solvent business (and, indeed, have not been doing so for a long, long time). Quite clearly, if they cannot pay at least half of the 7.5m up front today, how are they going to pay 3m of wages in 2 weeks time? Let alone repay any other debts! To my mind, even without a biaised opinion, the ONLY conclusion the Judge could make today is that they are insolvent and thus liquidate them.
  3. I would have Puncheon in ahead Antonio. Other than that, I agree.
  4. I fully agree!!
  5. Lol. Poopy did a team huddle after the match. Probably saying goodbye to each other as (hopefully) they won't exist by this time tomorrow!
  6. Fantastic stuff. Wemberlee, Wemberlee!!!!
  7. Paul Ince is a nooob
  8. Adam lallanaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  9. That would be my team too.
  10. Indeed! I think his only defence is that someone sold him a STORY that it would be a good investment. This could lead to 2 conclusions: 1. he is not that good a businessman 2. the story teller is working for (and being paid by) AG
  11. My understanding is that Chainrai WAS paid the money from AG's frozen account, and it was this same money that he loaned to Poopey. (Which is pretty much what many here thought was the case. Although many of us also thought that this was in league with AG which may or may not be the case.)
  12. Booo! I wanted England (or at least one the 'home nations') to come to Belarus again. Instead I will have to go and see them lose to the frog eaters. England should win this group though. As for the drive to Poland mentioned above, it's a very easy drive to do. The roads are great, right up until you actually get into Poland!
  13. Anyone have an online link for the England V Wales game?
  14. I would go with: --------------Kelvin----------------- JO-----Fonte-------Seabourne------Harding Antonio----James----Morgan-----Puncheon ----------Waigo------Barnard------------- Subs: Bart, Thomas, Perry, Mills, Wotton, Lallana, Lambert
  15. Correct. The loan window is for FL clubs not PL ones.
  16. Minsk

    time!

The trouble is that if no other club wants to take them the player(s) cannot be moved on. And some idiot signed some complete and utter dross last season; such as Pulis, Molyneux and Forecast (the latter on a FIVE year contract, FFS!)
  17. Agreed. I posted this on another thread a few minutes before I saw your comment: I think it is wrong that players can be loaned to teams in the same division as their parent club. Obviously the player cannot play against their parent team, therefore it gives them an unfair advantage over their competitors.
  18. Or quite simply that all transfer fees have to be paid in full at the time of the transfer (except for sell on fees, extras of promoted/called up for internationals, etc.) Also, I think it is wrong that players can be loaned to teams in the same division as their parent club. Obviously the player cannot play against their parent team, therefore it gives them an unfair advantage over their competitors.
  19. The first article is a good read. The second one is a very good read, for comical value. Whilst I do feel a bit sorry for the guy, I must admit that I laughed rather a lot whilst reading the article.
  20. You must be about 2 mins ahead of me with the commentary. I read this wayyyyy before I heard it.
  21. It's the same back 4 as played on Wednesday.
  22. I would go with: Davis Thomas Jaidi Fonte Harding Antonio Morgan Gillett Holmes Barnard Waigo Subs: Bart, Otsemebor, Mills, Wotton, Gobern, Lallana, Lambert
  23. I thought our problems began on Wednesday after James went off injured. He also scored a cracking goal,m to add to the one a few weeks back and was unlucky not to score with a great effort late on against Ipswich. I honestly believe he is a better player than many (except for AP) give him credit for. I, personally, rate him above Morgan. The latter is great at passing the ball but that is all I have seen him do. James creates and scores goals, tackles back well and is not afraid to mix it up when needed, which is what I like to see midfielders do!
  24. It's unlike you two to post something negative when we have some good news! I think he is a very good player who will give AP a lot more options with our offensive play. This is obviously the Mellis replacement AP said he was going to buy. IMO, the 2 loanees we lost (Mellis and Trottman) have been replaced with far superior players in Puncheon and Fonte. Surely this is the way to do things? And, lets not forget, Hammond was brought in to be the engine in midfield. I honestly think that bewteen Hammond, Morgan and James we have 3 excellent CMs for league 1. Unfortunately 2 of these are injured at the moment, but I do not believe either are long term injuries; Gillett and Wotton are also (IMO) suitable cover for the next couple of games we have at least.
  25. No, he would of had to sign before mid-day yesterday to be eligable for today's match.
