Should we not improve as a team if the majority of them are a year older with a year's worth of premier league experience behind them; and having added 36 million pounds worth of Internationals, with Champions League experience, through the spine of the team? Why are some questioning the manager? Maybe because some are not overly impressed with only 5 wins from 19 league matches; nor with a team that has not managed to score more than 1 goal in a league match for the past 9 matches.I was concerned when Pochettino was appointed. What has he ever actually achieved as a manager? His win ratio at Malaga was about 30% - so far with us (in the league) it is 26% - fail to beat West Ham next time out and it will be down to 20%.I have never been bothered by his, apparent, lack of English. There have been numerous reports that it is better than most people believe. However, he does coe across (to me) as somewhat arrogant and has yet to display any real affiliation to our football club (again, imo).

Can you point me to the post on this thread that says we lost purely because of the handball non-penalty decision? Turkish in posting trolling comments shocker!!! At the end of the day the better team won, we weren't good enough, but Webb did have a shocker. He got both penalty shouts wrong - they should both have been given, quite clearly! There was also an occasion when Johnson hacked Lallana down from behind, right in front of him, which he went unpunished and the elbow in to Osvaldo's mouth, which Webb said was an arm across his chest.

I still remain to be convinced about Pochettino. Strange team selection and starting formation - even stranger subs! Lallana was by far our best player, and he was the first to be brought off. Madness!!! Toothless in front of goal; wayward passes from midfield; hoofball, to nowhere. We were poor. Yes, we should have had a clear penalty in the first half, but so should Norwich have had one at the end. At least that cancelled each other out. I hear the vodka calling..............................

Today's silver lining. Home loss, best player sent off and banned for the next 3 matches. Lovely jubbely!!!!!

That's a bit harsh on Boruc, Fonte (apart from the foul that should have been a pen), Lovren and Lallana.

We have been quite poor, imo. Only Boruc, Fonte and Lallana doing themselves justice. I think Johnson must have some dodgy phots of Howard Webb. How that wasn't a penalty I will never know; and he should have had at least one yellow, if not two - and the worst foul of all, hacking AL down right in front of the ref, didn't even earn us a free-kick!!

Looks like we are playing 4-4-2; which might explain a few things about the starting 11 and subs chosen.

A bit of a worry that he isn't in the 18 for today. Won't be happy if we sell him, unless we bring better in.

How can you come to that conclusion only three games into the season? Especially when Cork has started in one of them? Why would Cork be more likely to get more starts at Fulham, who have already signed 2 other players in his position this summer?

Cork is a lot more important to us than Puncheon was.

I am pleased I am not the only one who has noticed. One theory, which I put to him a looong time ago - just before he stopped being a full member - is that he is Corp Ho's alter-ego.
