Because he has a certain way of playing against the Skates?
-
Last month in Alushta (near Yalta) the wife and I were walking down to the beach, as we passed an open air cafe (with great views of the bay) we heard the opening cords of Shine on you Crazy Diamond coming from within. We looked at one another and both said, 'let's stop and have a beer'. I'm not sure about the best song ever, but we had to stop and listen (and it was a good excuse for a beer, or two).

Utterly despicable. I would love the national press to pick up on this. 2k = 1hr 25mins wages to Ben Haim (not enough time for him to watch a full match, even minus the half-time break) but it is A LOT of money for H&W who helped the Skates out of a hole.

If a player doesn't want to go to a club then he will simply refuse to do so. QPR cannot force Gorkss to come here. He will only come if HE wants to.
-
Another thing which they should do there which happens here, anyone 'signing on' should work for the local council for one or two days a week cleaning the streets, parks, etc. i.e. working for their benefit money.

We also have to pay for plastic bags here, and not just the carrier bags but the ones used for fruits, bread, meat, etc. Carrier bags are about 50p, the small plastic bags around 10p. Most people use their bags many times. Similarly you pay extra for the box if you get a take-away pizza, the bag if you have McDonalds to go, etc.

I said 'at present' i.e. from those players we currently have at our club. I agree that it appears that Adkins has had his sights on getting a new CB in to partner Fonte; and I wholeheartedly agree with this. What I was questioning is why so many supporters think that if we get 2 CBs in that it would be Seaborne who would be sold on, when it appears he is No2 in Adkin's CB pecking order. Hence bring in 2 CBs, loan out Martin to gain 1st team experience (but not to Bompey) and have 5 CBs to call upon.
-
I hope we never, ever, loan a player to Bompey ever again!!! I also don't see this 'shift out' Seaborne thing. He is clearly, at present, the partner of choice for Fonte. I would go with NA and his coaching staff's views over some random fan's any day. So, bring in two new CB'c, get stiff competition for places going and yes loan out Martin - just not to Bompey. And hopefully we won't have to call upon Jaidi, unless we are playing against a team with just one huge, immobile, CF. Another reason for getting both in is, IMO, that they are better than our other CBs, barring Fonte; and if he (Fonte) should get injurde/suspended I would be less nervous if could call upon a pairing of Jemal and Gorkss than other possible partnerships.

QPR make Saints an offer for Puncheon (Player Exchange)
Minsk replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I will be very happy if this comes to fruition. -
What's more giving us him PLUS cash for Puncheon. Amazing piece of business for us if this comes off.
-
Now we know what Phil and Eric do for their half-time entertainment.
-
From the above article: 'Rangers have had a bid accepted for 25-year-old Puncheon, with centre-back Kaspars Gorkss set to move in the opposite direction as part of the deal.' Hopefully this deal will be completed very soon.

I spent my 18th birthday in a Gale force 10 in the North Sea However, some advice i would give myself would be: Don't smoke Invest in property Don't get married young Visit Belarus as soon as you can, and definitely whilst still single!!

I know people here who brew their own vodka. It is pretty lethal stuff, but hasn't killed me (so far). Although I do prefer to stick to the proper stuff, which is only about £3-£4 per litre.

From the Skate OS: Be Pompey’s Official 12th Man Want to get closer to your heroes? Or are you looking for an extra-special gift for the Pompey fan in your life? Well, here’s your chance. The club is offering a fantastic experience enabling Blues supporters to be Pompey’s official 12th man. The package includes: - Your name and squad number (12) printed onto a home shirt (included in the price) - Pre-match presentation photograph with a member of the first-team squad - Your photograph on the player sponsorship page in POMPEY, the matchday magazine - Your name printed on the back page of the matchday magazine - Two south stand tickets for the match - Announcement on the big screen and PA announcement - A copy of the matchday magazine - Photograph and acknowledgement in the following matchday magazine - A seat on the bench, and possibly even a run out on the pitch should injuries occur* And you can get all of this for just £125! There are no age restrictions for the official 12th man package (how could there be when we already have a player in his 50's in the squad*) To be honest, not a bad idea for making a bit of cash and I am surprised it is so cheap - unless they really are trying to make up enough people to fill the subs bench this season? *added by me

The work permit issue is for Jemal; Gorks wouldn't need one as he is an EU citizen. I will be very happy if we sign both of them, but can't really see it.
-
Well, they didn't bother looking after their fans who were also creditors, or the schools, or cancer charities, or St John Ambulance, etc, etc.........
-
If memory serves me correctly the poll back in January had most votes for us finishing 2nd. According to your formula we should therefore have finished 8th. Where did we finish again? Which reminds me....... if there are any Mods around today (didn't notice any yesterday) can you make this a poll and a sticky please?
-
I was at that match.
-
According to Sporting Life Arsenal, Spuds and Stoke have made enquiries. If true, that would be 2 of last season's top 6 interested.
-
Could we fit him and Owen into the same team? If not, I guess he is marginaly the better of the two.
-
How couldn't he?

Damn! A post of yours that I actually agree with..........
