I would be very happy if we signed Gorkss. -
Benny Hill's mother lived in Market Street, Eastleigh. The back of her house was opposite the one I grew up in. The famous 'Ernie' used to deliver milk to my house. Everyone over here knows Benny Hill, no one knows Ben Elton.

I know many sweet Olgas.

I believe it's being worn for the 2nd match

I would go with the former quote, a WEAK squad, as there are only 15 players - not even enough for the new number match day squad of 16. Of course, they will sign (at least) 5 players on loan - and may add paterson from Burnley (although I don't think Howe wants to lose him). In any event, which of these 15 players do you think would be in Saints' starting 11 if they were on our books?
-
I was expecting him to take the 19 shirt too. Maybe we have 2 more signings to come?

It's not a MINMUM £600k salary, as the actual amount was less than £600k (only just, I admit). you started this thread for one reason only, as a Cortese bashing exercise - as you more or less confirmed in an earlier post. So, away you go, I hope you have fun in doing so...............
-
Ahhh, so this is just another piece of Cortese bashing. It had been a while since there was such a thread. Thanks for admitting that's all this thread was for.

If's, but's and assumptions..... and if anyone can't see the difference between a salary for a man running the club as NC does and share dividends then there really is no point in discussing such things with them.

Adkins stated at the end of last season that he would only be looking to bring in 2 or 3 new players, something he reiterated after we signed Jack Cork. We have alreadt signed one (Cork); we know there has been a bid made for at least one forward (Sharp) and speculation of another (Maynard); leaving the number 5 shirt unalocated is a very good indication that we will be bringing in a new CB = 3 players. Adkins also stated that he only wants to bring in players who will improve the team, NOT the squad. Personally I think this is the right thing to do. I think our squad is pretty good, but does need (a few) additions to it to be able to compete well in the Championship. I am happy with our goalkeepers and full backs; slighlty concerned about CB, and feel we need a new one; happy with central midfield (now Cork has signed); happy with our wide players, but we would obviously have to find a replacement for AOX IF he leaves; happy that we have kept our best forwards, but feel we should one more - proven at this level - striker for extra options/competition for places.

Fully agree with all of this.

Belorusian and Polish girls are better than Ukranian ones, IMO.

Typical Alps, always looking to find the positive in any situation. But, what are your thoughts on Barney being a saint for another 3 years. Personally, I am happy to hear this news.
-
Your theory?? It's been said all along that we are only likely to bring in about 3 new players.
-
So, you think we're going to sign a messy 19 year old??
-
Unless Puncheon and Mills are the hot dog suppliers.
-
I would be very happy with this. My first thought was it is extremely unlikely but, thinking about it, Sunderland have signed a lot of defenders.

I think this every time I go over for a visit.
