Sky Sources: New 5 Year Contract offered to Jay Rodriguez
Turkish replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
The Cortese over anyone brigade are a strange bunch. We are run worse than the Venkys apparently despite arguably an upgrade of manager, two very good signings (on paper), getting top dollar for our two want away stars and new deals on the table to our remaining ones. -
He may have been a good defender but he isn't a miracle worker.

That clown that wrote the mirror article has admitted on twitter he didn't know they were in Belgium and had to edit the article. How embarrassing.

Initial TV game picks (Liverpool/Villa away, Man City home)
Turkish replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
Stop complaining, you are nothing. People in Abergavenny who pay their £60 a month subscription matter more than you. Think of them with their 13.15 start, having to rush their Sunday lunch to make it to the sofa. shut up you piece of scum, just get on your train, pay your ticket and look exited for the camera when we get a corner. You are nothing. NOTHING. -
? 6 weeks on and still no closer to crab lungs telling us why we are run by people more incompetent than the venkeys.

Jizz mopping Mong, yes?

'My elders are harder than your elders'

One of the most pointless and meaningless expressions in football is describing a club as a selling club. All but about 4 clubs in the world can be described as that.it means nothing.
-
Something about man walking on the moon. Did you moderate your emotions with ifs and maybes when you were ripping up your season ticket?
-
That's what spurs thought.
-
The spurs references seem to be the latest mongboard simile of choice. Because spurs lost one of the greatest players in the world, spent £100m and didn't make the champions league, we are going to spend £60m on a load of sh*t and be lucky to stay up. Or something.

What's the seasons view on announcing injuries MLG? I remember you loved Adkins stance of not revealing who was injured or not so the opposition wouldn't know who to prepare for. Although when MP was a bit more open about injuries that was a great tactic too as it meant we the opposition would be worrying about us not visa versa. What's you're though of what Ronald will do?
-
Danny Ings, although I have concerns about his fitness record, patrick Bamford would be a quality signing in the 'young, hungry and guaranteed to improve' mould.
-
If you think a proven premier league striker is in our budget and likely to come here you're going to be disappointed.
-
Having just signed the two best players from the Dutch league, now would be a good time for crab lungs to speak up with all he knows about how incompetent the board are. Still waiting....
-
Pelle is world class,I can't believe he doesn't get picked by Italy ahead of that clown Baloteli, the Italia FA must hate us and have an anti saints agenda.
-
So we've replaced Lallana and lambert for c£16m and we got c£26m for the pair. Good work RK and LR.
-
Are we actually in for Any of them or it is a rumour that's based on a few people on here saying they'd be good signings?
-
I think you have potential to make a decent replacement.
-
Lets not forget he lacks those all important quality that Saints fans love of running around a lot.
-
We've not had a true forum hardman since DPS got himself banned. A few pretenders to the throne but it's a bit like the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis retired, lacking quality with lots of journeymen.
-
That wouldn't have happened. We do our business in private and would never use the media to engineer a situation.

Buttner was the summer before, our promotion season and at that time Shaw hadn't made a first team appearance, so quite rightly some people, me included were concerned that we were starting our first season back with a left back who wasn't good enough and another who was 17 and never played a first team game. I'm sure our knowitallers with the benefit of hindsight will sneer and how ridiculous this was and that Shaw was guaranteed to be brilliant, that anyone that says otherwise is a clown who doesn't know what they're on about and no doubt insert a few laughing emotioncons to emphasise the point. The fact is though that you just don't know how a kid will fit in to the first team, like Shaw they might slot in straight away, but there are countless other examples where that doesn't happen and they need a bit more time. It seems the club weren't overly confident either otherwise we wouldn't have been trying to sign Buttner is the first place.

He was linked with Dortmund and Real Madrid not so long ago!
-
Why aren't FC Twente not standing for their players being sold and dreaming of winning the champions league? Surely their mongboard is indignant that if Ajax won it in 1995 then why can't they? 6 years ago no one had heard of Athletico Madrid and Dortmund and look at them now! Why should they accept their place and not demand more? Dream. Ambition. Dream. Ambition. That is all it takes.
