Well the atmosphere in Harrogate this weekend has been incredible. The town centre was absolutely rammed yesterday, bands, stools, streets lined, thousands upon thousands of people. Was in town for the finish but could get near the final stretch to see any of it. This morning it went virtually past my front door and the streets were packed. Proud of my adopted home town this weekend, it was almost like the Olympics atmosphere. Definitely something that will be talked about for years in this usually quiet spa town.

But when we got there and perhaps the owners wanted to know where the increased revenue was going, why a £15m training ground had cost double that and why despite a feel good factor like never before around the club to go hand in had with our rise he was making less commercial money than midtable championship sides.
