Terrible signings, lambert will be sacked with roy Keane taking over if they don't start well. Unrest behind the scenes and in the boardroom. And some of the doom merchants on here think we'll be lucky to stay up Colback and Lescott on frees look good deals but can't say anyone else stands out as someone we've missed out on really

We can break into the top 4 with a good academy and a bit of ambition.

And we beat reading away 2-1 and were brilliant. They ran away with the league that season. -
Monk said it had stalled but because we may be looking elsewhere.

I didn't mind him either, but in hindsight its hilarious we outbid Coventry by £1m for a £1.2m signing. Who signed that one off. Bet Burnley couldn't believe their eyes when the bid came through. -

Whiskey George then went and signed Wayne Thomas for £1.2m, beating Coventrys bid by £1m  -

Following on from your Calum Davenport admission yesterday I'm wondering if something happens to you when you enter Coventrys stadium which makes you lose all comprehension of what makes a good defender ;-) -
He's going through the invoices from May and June for sundries supplied to SFC or minor maintenance work carried out inside the stadium and deciding which ones to refuse to pay for no reason whatsoever so he can settle out of court in 18 months time the day before the hearing.
-
That's him. Cheers. We've sure had our fair share of Carlos kickaballs!
-
And that Calum davenport on loan was a better option.

Aledine Yahia? None of them can hold a candle to Scott marshall. Remember him? He was considered a bit of a coup at the time. Played twice, we conceded 8 goals I think and he scored two own goals. He was fantastically sh*te Who was that Spanish centre half we signed mid/late nineties with the perm?

They are incomplete they're making a pigs ear of this asset strip

Remember we can only do one deal at a time ;-)

He's got form for this it seems http://www.espnfc.com/story/1410169/dejan-lovren-falls-out-with-lyon

Yes, because its one or the other, either we pay Kieran Dyer types £100k a week or we promote academy players. Everyone seemed happy the Osvaldo signing when it was going through.

Well the atmosphere in Harrogate this weekend has been incredible. The town centre was absolutely rammed yesterday, bands, stools, streets lined, thousands upon thousands of people. Was in town for the finish but could get near the final stretch to see any of it. This morning it went virtually past my front door and the streets were packed. Proud of my adopted home town this weekend, it was almost like the Olympics atmosphere. Definitely something that will be talked about for years in this usually quiet spa town.

That's about the size of it. And some fans will still cling onto their heroes words, believing none of it would have happened if he was here.
-
You ever going to be honest and come out with your reveal all or carry on acting like a c*nt forever?
-
Precisely. When he was given free reign and had the remit to get us back to the premier league, allowed to run at a loss etc he did brilliantly. This cannot be denied. But when we got there and perhaps the owners wanted to know where the increased revenue was going, why a £15m training ground had cost double that and why despite a feel good factor like never before around the club to go hand in had with our rise he was making less commercial money than midtable championship sides. That much was alluded to in the opening statements from the board where hey said a priority was to make more of this revenue stream.
-
You hear correctly. He was great at making promises and spending money, when it came to making money, not so good. Which is a bit of a problem when you're a CEO.
-
Clearly just an excuse. He's seen the money the others are on, wants a bit of it himself but can use that line in an otherwise disgraceful interview to say 'well I would have stayed of they'd matched my ambitions'
-
If he was told the minimum aim was the Europa league at least, you know that cup competition that was beneath us according to many on here, why did pochettino speak so openly against it?
-
We're not trying to rape them diggers.

He's a big lad and not bad in the air, plus he takes a good throw in so his distribution is good with his hands. Our new keeper?
