If you know anything about the game then you can see that Wanyama has two options, either make a strong tackle or hold his ground, allow gardener to have the ball but stand up and stop him having a free run at goal. Instead he dangled his leg at the ball allowing gardener to take it past him easily and then hit what was a great strike. Wanyama stands his ground that doesn't happen. Take nothing away from the strike but you are right Charlie, he should have done better. Not sure what ollallana is on about but then there's nothing unusual about that.

Rubbish. In any case If he couldn't reach It then he stays on his feet and stops gardener getting a run at goal. It was a fantastic strike but it was sloppy defending and a half arsed tackle.

These were probably the ones who had birthdays, christening or funerals when we were losing at home to Charlton in the championship which effectively relegated us to l1 or hosting burnley not knowing if we'd have a club in a months time. Yep. Really struggle to understand why people wouldn't want us to have progressed today and aren't p*ssed off that we threw a good chance of at least a wembley semi final appearance. MP seems to think the Europa league is beneath him and us, but there will be quite a few fans who would love nothing more than at least one season in it. Don't hear too many people that went to Bucharest or hamburg saying it was a waste of time and money.

I disagree. Opinions are valid if they have substance. What I disagree with is people who spout opinions then scream and cry when asked to justify or explain them. Which is often the case on here. Check my post history, I'll always back my opinion up regardless of if people agree with it or not, don't see why others can't do the same. too often people accuse others of trolling and whinge and complain when they are asked to validate their views. Like now we've got another 'this board used to be so much better' thread. When I asked you when this period was you couldn't or wouldn't answer and resorted to having a go at others being 'characters' mAybe you're the disease and not the cure?

I'd like to know what I've done to upset the OP. I hardly use the expressions he's come out with and whenever I give an opinion alway just dify it even if people don't like it or agree win it. People seem to get very upset when asked to justify theirs though.
