  1. I don't think everyone agrees with you Jamie, some people were positively salivating over his pace and direct running after the Italy game and he was only going to get better. Apparently dinlows didn't get it or understand how important that was, i guess you're one of them
  2. He got an awful lot more right than wrong. Including taking the team that contained players supposedly bad as Wellbeck to win the title by 11 points in his last season as manager. Once again, I think I'd trust the greatest manager ever over a someone who peels potatoes for a living.
  3. Brett, it's hipster to say Wellbeck is crap. He isn't, has no world beater but he's as lot better than some people make out. It's funny how the greatest manager In English football history trusted him to do a job for him, yet pot bellied weirdos behind their computer screens insist he's terrible.
  4. Yes RK the manager. Although have you ever seen him and RK the chairman on the same room??
  5. He used to coach hockey he f*cking hates Pompey clap clap clap clap, clap, clap, clap
  6. Got to agree with this. If you replaced Ruddy with Kelvin Davis, Chambers and jack Stephens in the centre back positions and Harry reed alongside Cork it'd be even better. Unless what you mean by 'a team made up of players they didn't start' is actually a saints/Recent Ex Saints 11 with a few random players thrown in where we don't have a first choice English player in that position would be better than England.
  7. As is Barkley. He's obviously got some ability but so often takes one touch too many, runs into trouble or picks the wrong pass. There is a lot of hype around him He's only 20 so still time but at the moment not one to start IMO.
  8. Oh I got one earlier for taking the p*ss out of him too. Jimmy d is on duty, its only to be expected as he's given them out for 'stamping on people's dreams' in the past.
  9. Would Suarez have put that header against the bar or hit hit straight at the keeper like Rooney did? He'd have had a hatrick tonight if he'd been in an England shirt. Uruguay are an average team with a world class striker, England are an average team. That my friend is the difference.
  10. Be fair they are a decent side. They are South American champions, got to the semis of the last World Cup and A world class striker that we don't have who ultimately was the differnce.
  11. Well in that case you aren't bringing him up very well as he uses four letter swear words whilst sneaking around behind your back. Have a word with yourself and discipline him please.
  12. Who else is there? Smalling? Jones? A real lack of decent centre halves. Remember the days when we had Terry, Campbell, Ferdinand, and the best two of them all King and Woodgate never fit for long.
  13. Don't worry everyone, certain posters will be on here to tell us how much better direct running is than players with craft and guile playing in an effective system.
  14. Hang on, he's just scored both goals to give you the result you wanted. I thought you'd have his picture as your avatar.
  15. Rooney is a c*nt and is f*cking ah*t and Glen Johnson is the worst player I've ever seen.
  16. Well they both threaten to leave their club every few years, maybe that's what he meant
  17. I just hope England don't look at what Les Reed has achieved with us and try to recruit him for themselves.
  18. Should have scored. Hit it straight at the keeper.
  19. But you want us to lose so you should be happy.
  20. 20 minutes in and the whinging starts.
  21. The Uruguay national anthem is the worst one I've ever heard.
  22. But you're hoping we lose anyway?
  23. Apologies for the late reply. I had to leave it a bit as if I reply after sue whistle has posted, even if it's hours later, she thinks it's about her and accuses me of stalking her. Anyway, no one can question my support pal, more than earnt my stripes and been there through all the sh*t times and most of the good. These days it's a 600 mile and 9 hour round trip for a home game so don't make many anymore. I'm certainly not renewing due to hysterical tart reaction due to short rocky period like some on here.

    St. Mary Wifi

You're so stuck in the 80s. The atmosphere at football isn't crap, it's simply evolved from childish, lager swilling thugs leaping about to a more measured approach where we can show our delight of despair with a quick tweet or Facebook update. The atmosphere at matches theses days is not measured by how many decibels but by how many internet connections. Football has changed it's a shame some of our thuggish fans can't.

    St. Mary Wifi

Okay, I'll rephrase my point. The technology, ie WIFI, was available, what wasn't there and was too expensive for it to show an ROI for clubs in England was people not using it all week, then 30-50,000 all wanting to be connected for 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Even now only a few vendors have got it right. As i said above Liverpool spent a fortune of xirrus wifi kit and it didn't work properly. Cisco and Ruckus have got it about right now but the rest are still lagging behind. So yes you probably could have connected to a baseball stadiums WIFI 5 years ago, but if 10000 others had tried to do it during a break in play it would have fallen on it's arse. That's what I'm referring too. A scalable solution for bursty environments so clubs aren't paying top whack for access points, licences etc that are only being used for for three hours once a fortnight.
