  1. I posted the link to the Michu leaving southampton post, then saw it had already been done.
  2. says the troll from the Tyrol who has been angrily thumping his keyboard all morning proclaming anyone who wants 'gashton' to do well as talking bol*ocks.
  3. Yes you do. You want him to fail, you said 'some quarters' are hoping for his renaissance, with your hilarious 'gashton' nickname and dismissal of people wanting him to achieve as talking 'utter bo***ocks' it's pretty evident that you want one of your own players to fail. How strange.
  4. So clearly you're hoping he fails as in your quarter you're not hoping for his renaissance. How odd to hope a player from the team you claim to support fails.
  5. It went as most normal people predicted, we lost to two team better than us and didnt to the team considered worse than us. The tournement came to early for a lot of our young players who are too young and experienced and too late for our older players who are now past their best. We didn't have a single player other than Cahill who did okay and Rooney who was in their prime and he failed to deliver yet again. Now the media have whipped up a frenzy as to the state of our game. We will have a decent qualifying campaign, probably do ok in Euro 2016, reaching the quarters when the likes of Shaw, Barclay, Sturridge etc have got a more experience adn the the media will stir up another frenzy that the game in this country is a mess and we need to go back to grass roots level etc. Of course if we dont get off to a flier in the qualifers then the media will whip up a frenzy demand "Woy" be fired immedaitely and replaced with the current flavour of the month.
  6. :lol::lol::lol:
  7. More evidence of the relentless drive of the owners. '
  8. Difficult to say this one. We all know how great scousers sense of humour is, they they've told us about it themselves. But boy do they also love to get a candle out. Makes you wonder if there is a rampant schizophrenia chromosome on the loose in L postcodes. Who knows which way this one will go? I guess it depends on if they win their first 10 games or not, then Rodgers will be "poetry in motion" if not then he'll be that Irish c*nt who loves the Sun.
  9. Is he still a clueless dinosaur who doesn't know what he's on about or a great guy who recognises top young talent?
  10. Now he can consider himself a true premier league player, well done son.
  11. White, black, brown and yellow quarters, pink shorts for our gays and hold ups rather than socks so the women dont get upset and think the kit is sexist. Perhaps we could have one of the three lions on the badge wear a turban and another in burkah just so no one is offended like.
  12. God save our gracious queen Allah save our noble elected member of parliament Buddah save our head of state Here's a line for the anti royalist, don't forget the atheists I think that covers all bases Yahweh save our queen
  13. There are some good points raised on this thread, to add to the discussion should the England kit be white? Back in 1885 of whenever when white was selected as our colour then the overwhelming majority of the population would have been white, however now not everyone that lives in England is white and we have a mix of races and cultures. surely it is wrong and potentially racist for our national team to be represented by a colour that does not reflect the racial make up of our society.
  14. God save the queen Cause tourists are money And our figure head Is not what she seems
  15. Wellbeck is brilliant. He's quick, he runs directly and pace is SO important, direct running cause problems. And he's definitely going to improve with experience, in fact is say he's the template for future England teams to be built around. Only a dinlow wouldn't get it

  17. As is rule Britannia
  18. Jerusalem is an brilliant song and my choice. It should really be land of hope and glory though.
  19. I always live in hope that one day they'd put the sex pistols version on by mistake.
  20. They're not. I moved up to North Yorkshire early last year, luckily for me I work for a company whose HQ is down south and I moved up here on southern wages so have kept them! the guys who do a similar job to me locally and in our Birmingham office are on a fair bit less. Also the missus was considering going back to work but jobs doing what she did in southampton are around £6-7k a year less. Once we'd paid for childcare it wasn't worth her going back to work. We live in a fairly affluent area and property prices here are actually higher than in Southampton. The larger near cities like Leeds and York are cheaper but where we live wages are lower and cost of living is higher than southampton. In any case, the cost of living argument is ridiculous excuse for the high prices for kids at SMS. Especially as all kids have to be in education until 18 these days.
  21. I would crack up if we got that.
  22. £15m up front, £10m if they win the next 5 champions leagues, £10m if he score over 1,000 goals and £6m if they win the FIFA intergalactic cup in 2027.
