  1. Apart from when it comes to stadium expansion
  2. You've turned into a proper whinging Bellend rylan. What happened to your expose?
  3. And on our moral compass where we can smugly critise the big clubs for not developing their own players as our only comfort blanket.
  4. Express say he's a defender and we want him to replace Shaw the mail says he's a midfielder and replacing Lallana.
  5. Not to mention the constant badge kissing, chest thumping and claims to love the club over the last year.
  6. I'm pretty sure quite a few of our 'intelligent and enlightened posters' have been at pains over the last few years to assure us that players would all turn down big money moves to big clubs to stay at Southampton and play with their mates. That all you need to make the champions league was a decent a academy and a good manager and the rest would all a lot into place. It was going to happen, it was inevitable in fact, because they once said man would never climb Everest. Or something.
  7. The biggest load of twaddle on this thread is people posting as FACT that players would turn down the biggest clubs in the world, champions league football, a far greater chance of winning things and 3 to 4 times their wages because the chairman was a great guy who told them what they wanted to hear.
  8. Alpines get out clauses are he is happy to be proven wrong or his new one that he didn't make that post, one of his kids did.
  9. Think Bony was £12m but is a few years younger. He didn't mention a fee but £8m seems to have been mentioned elsewhere, seems to be more than a rumour though as I to recall it being said Koeman would take him with him to his next club and quite a few links, now this. Looks like your second piece of ITKness mate ;-)
  10. Italian sky reporter has tweeted he's signing on Monday on a 4 year deal. pelle, that is.
  11. When it comes to playing blinders Strawlock is the Alexander Buttner of mongboards. Probably considers himself poster of the thread in over half his appearances whilst everyone else looks at him and thinks what an utter bellend.
  12. £8m seems a bit excessive for a championship striker with a questionable injury record. I'm sure le Tiss will be running an article in the media soon slamming Burnley for ruining English football with their overpricing of players.
  13. He did, I forget about that one, that is the only one though. I've always believed stats don't tell the whole story. Shaw is testament to that, but some on here love them. You can guarantee that numerous players will be written off or hyped up on here due to their stats before the window shuts.
  14. I'm simply pointing out how both were good deals but some are viewing them as polar opposites because of how they perceive the respective chairmen.
  15. It was, never said it wasn't. But so is. World record fee for a full back with only 3 international caps who has never scored and only provided one assist in 60 pl appearances.
  16. It does make me laugh how when we got £12m for AOC everyone said it was brilliant negotating to get that much for a kid and just shows how we wont be shoved around by big clubs, yet when we get a world record fee from one of the worlds biggest clubs for a player in his postion we've caved in and it wasn't a good deal because in 10 years time he'll definitely be worth £500m and we should have kept him.
  17. That's what we need a team full of Carlton Palmers!! give it up pal
  18. Yes, I'm sure the England team transport arrangements were all based around making sure luke Shaw got to his man United medical safely, you're becoming more of an embarrassment everyday my chubby friend
  19. June 29th for first 'alpine complaint of no transfer activity' sweepstake winner please contact me for your winnings No that's right, you'd prefer we were run by the bloke who you said last year ran us like a crappy B&B
  20. Yeah we 'caved in' and got a world record fee for a full back. A full back Which by the way doesn't score goal or set them up. What a bunch of clowns.
  21. Players leave, when clubs like Man United come knocking at their door all you can do is hold out for the best fee possible. We can't compete with what they can offer. Despite what some of the mentalists on here think by getting a world record fee for a full back and one of the biggest ever fees in the world for a teenager we've done just that. Where they now earn their corn is spending the money and whatever else we have a good replacement and other players to improve the squad as a whole.
  22. You beat me too it, he's been promise those for weeks, nothing. Come on crabs.
  23. Who had 26th June in the alpine predicts we're going down sweepstake?
  24. As someone that's watches an awful lot of Dutch football I'll be able to provide an in depth analysis of every one of them.
  25.
