Talking of odd.....
-
Not offended mate, you're looking at a different website and your first thought is of someone you've never met on a football forum. Just Pretty odd IMO.
-
Pretty strange that the first thing someone thinks of when a job is advertised on a different website is someone they've never met on an anonymous football forum.

Can't wait for this seasons DVD of the new expansion plans!

A truely glorious post. Mentioning me on a thread I've not even posted on, taking you up to 7 of your last 10 posts being about me or in response to me. That's 70% of your recent posts offering nothing to the forum other than to moan about other posters. Yet you accuse others of making this place tiresome, you couldn't make it up!!

He's very good at it though, gets lots if bites including Jamie Carragher. He is a master of his art and I'm a big fan. -

I've always thought he'd make an excellent contributor to this forum. -

Plenty of people Gave a sh*t when it was churning out these type of articles on a regular basis http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2060821/After-Walcott-Bale-Oxlade-Chamberlain-Southampton-aiming-create-new-golden-generation-England.html -

He'd need a step ladder to reach the saddle. -
We aren't at a cross roads. What a lot of you are not willing or able understand was Cortese can say what he likes, it was Katrina's money that was funding everything and without her backing all his talk was irrelevant. Kat Is still here, Nick nack isn't, the only thing that's changed is we don't have a psychotic dwarf running his mouth off and being led by his ego and we might actually start making a few quid from commercial income and local businesses spending their money with us rather than taking us to court.
-
Don't forget we were also told that Liverpool would want Nigel Adkins in our championship days so it's no huge leap to think Spurs would desperately want poch.

as opposed to our former CEO who was one of the highest.

Yes you did say that, you said they would have to spend 20-30m to stay as good as they are. This maybe the case, but where they are is 15 points better off than us and champions league qualification theirs to lose. So say they spend £30m then get two more good loans in next season, would you not agree this is a clever and effective way of building a strong squad? You say they havent progress light years but with 6 games left they've got the same points as they finished on last season with champions league qualifcation within their grasp, last season they finished 6th and 10 points off it. That's good progress and if it was saints people would be boshing each other off over it.
-
Well staying where they are would be a strongly challenging for the top 4 with making it in their own hands, how much better do you expect them to do? Should they make the champions league then you'd have to say that the decision to take those loans was an excellent one, would it not? They'd also be in a great position to keep their best players and attract news one. Even if they dont a 5th placed finish would still represent European football and make them a very attractive propostion for a player.

2012/13. According to some of the geniuses on here it didn't matter if we got relegated that season as we were already ahead of the five year plan. Also Hooliveld & Davis were definitely good enough for the premier league and didn't need replacing.

I'm not so sure I share your confidence alps. He only says its possible for the group to stay together and that the club needs to continue to move forward, he also appears to be angling for a new contract as well as dictating to the board that they need to bring in new players. Telling them how to do their jobs perhaps? early signs of unrest and a ego bigger than the club? I hope not but when players start coming out and telling directors what they should be doing its early signs of unrest, IMO. Glad you've taken the positive slant on his comments though.
