  1. up there with the suggestion someone made of playing Dan Harding in central midfield in our L1 days, it's that good an idea, probably slightly worse but not by much.
  2. Tuprins not got a mention, the thursday night venue of choice for the discerning early-mid 90's 6th former. We later graduated to Simons Wine Bar, full of mid twenties-fourties ladies which as a 19-20 year old on the pull was a target rich environment. Old Oriental, Jesters, the Pier also worth of honourable mentions.
  3. In the interview I heard yesterday he describes his England performances as fantastic. There is no denying he was a good player in his day I don't remember him being fantastic. I do remember him being made to look like a lumbering cart horse by Salas, Gomes, Ronaldo amongst others on a few occasions. That interview right there is the reason why he was never permanent captain, any player that describes themselves as fantastic and deserved to be England captain for 10 years ahead of some other very good candidates proves exactly why they shouldn't be. Upset and playing the race card because others don't rate him as much as he rates himself.
  4. I have little doubt if and when MP has gone he will go from a genius manager got us playing fantastic football, getting the best out of all of our players and irreplaceable. To being a clueless dago who was not the man to take us to the next level, couldn't get the best out of Ramirez, Clyne, Wanayama, Lambert, out of his depth against teams in the top half, a bit of a one trick pony, no plan b. the new guy will be the best manager we've ever had and the guy to take us to the next level, establish is as a top 6 club etc etc. take about 5 weeks I reckon. Perhaps a bit longer if it happens early in the summer.
  5. If we can improve our form we still have a chance of being part of '7th heaven day' on the last day of the season. With Newcastle away at Liverpool that day it could be a straight winner takes all play off between us and Man United for that glorious 7th spot giving Sky one of its most exciting finish to a premier league season in its history.
  6. I do chuckle at the 'if we had Suarez playing for us we'd be doing better' lines that are trotted out. Every team in the world could say the same if they had one of the best strikers in the world playing for them.
  7. How does he explain rio Ferdinand and Paul Ince also captaining England then? Utter attention seeking nonsense.
  8. Ha ha ha, when all else fails drop in the first name, you've been doing your homework sunshine, like I said, obsessive. Bit odd behaviour isn't it. The stalking continues. If only you could show the same maturity and comment on my posts on the subject on hand rather than fantasising about me.
  9. Well I'm far from convinced about this Javi gracia chap. Never stays anywhere for long, in 7 jobs only lasted more than a year once and been fired a few times. Hardly seems like a stable, long term appointment.
  10. Thought you were putting me on ignore you pillock? Read my second post on the subject where I clarified the point rather than spouting your usual obsessive nonsense.
  11. For once I actually think this might be. Smells of a planted piece what with the Cortese stuff, the mirror were his allies. Dont forget he was linked with Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago. Can't really see why either would want him at the moment.
  12. I wouldn't go that far but a couple of times he snuffed out very dangerous situations with intelligent defending. Surez scored one, set one up and won the pen for the third so to say he had him in his pocket is a stretch. He did play well though and defensively he was very good and is at least as good as Clyne, still think Clyne gives us more going forward.
  13. Indeed, other than the made up stories by him of AC Milan wanting him how exactly is he influential in Italy? Last time I checked he was an unemployed former banker and chairman of a midtable English club.
  14. Clearly lies made up by lazy, lying journo scumbags.
  15. Was talking to a senior member of QPRs coaching staff a few weeks back who told me they have to go up this season and also said there was never a dull moment when Harry's around, rolling had eyes, we both knew what he was getting at.
  16. Been talking about this with Patrick Bateman today. It's all very well bring thorough the academy players but you need balance, rush them through too quickly and it has a negative effect on both them and the team.
  17. Beaten by a very good side. Played very well until their second goal but that knocked the stuffing out of us. Missed chance after chance and punished by some clinical finishing and also some sloppy defending.
  18. Behave it wasn't a dive
  19. We've played well, just being beaten by a good side in good form who have taken both their chances.
  20. Been class so far
  21. First touch has been poor from so many so far. Shaw, Rodriguez, Fonte, lambert and Davis all giving it away cheaply and heavy first touches
  22. We had a rivalry going for a short time until that infamous thread where you accused me of having a racist user name on TUI, not realising it was actually my real life surname. That was comedy gold.
  23. CB Fry is one of the best posters on here IMO. Absolutely destroys Wes Ender week in week out, which is fine because he's a proper moaning bulb. Shurlock tries desperately hard to be my rival but there in is his problem, he's too desperate. Making things up, even following me to other forums and posting stuff months ago from there on here, completely out of context in an attempt to score points. No respect or credibility for that. He's more like a yappy little dog round your ankles that's a pest than a rival.
  24. There have been some epic rivalries over the years on here, MLG v myself was up there with Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank until MLG decided to bottle it and put me on ignore after a relentless, merciless pounding. Current rivalries that stand out at CB fry v Wes Ender & Franks Cousin smirking saint v Saint Steve Pap v quite a few
  25. Mates with a couple go Sunderland fans in Facebook. They literally cannot wait until Sunday. Such a shame so many of our fans thought the league cup was beneath us.
