I hope they got their money back.

A proven 20+ goals a season premier league striker you say? Which one out of Suarez, Van Persie and Aguero should we go for?
-
our record against the top teams is pretty poor. only 2 wins against the top 12 sides. We're good at seeing off the weaker sides, not so good at getting results against the better teams. I'm sure i'll be accused of cherry picking but that's how it is.

Do agree that if Sam Allerdyce wasn't a football manager he has the perfect look to be a butcher who runs a small local shop which does just about okay?

which my little pony does Andy Carroll most look like?

On their mongboard they ask the posters what they'd like to ask the opposition fans and then they chose the best ones so some are serious, some not. I did ours for the game at SMS last season. Garrett, you should have opened it up to us. I'd have liked to have asked Does west ham notorious firm, which claims to be undefeated in 30 years still have an American student as its top boy? You used to have a reputation for producing great footballers, these days you have a reputation for producing utter dinlows as fans, how do you feel most of football now dubs you the academy of c*nts? Which is more embarrassing the bubble machine or Alfie moon being a fan?

But apart from two great passes which directly lead to goals and scoring one himself he was rubbish.

Well the good news in Lovren is back.

For once, you're right. It made no sense leaving players who were never going to feature taking a wage and rotting in on the training ground. Never understood Corteses stance to refuse to pay a % of their wages whilst out on loan.

4 out of 10. Not disrupting the thread. Just a bit odd that someone would have a go at a pundit for saying arugably the most attractive team to watch are the most attractive team to watch in his opion. I'd certainly put them in the top 2 along with Man City.

Talking of obssessed 3 of your last 9 posts have been about me.

Just a little bit odd that so many people are so obsessed with him.

NC used to work from there and a couple of the corporate sales team. As far as i am aware the only reason it was there was for NC's benefit. Now he's not here i guess it's no longer needed.
-
Not sure what point you were making then? "who would have guessed?" What does that mean?
-
Yeah that's exactly what i'm saying.

What that Mark Lawrenson thinks arguably the most attractive team to watch this season are the most attractive team to watch this season? What's the problem with that?
-
SO when asked who he thought was the best team to watch he should have declined to comment as it would have been stating the obvious?
-
Well that's fair enough isn't it?

There must be some mistake.. Im sure the geniuses on here assured us that the minimum we could expect from the excellent decision by "someone" within the club to report him meant that he wouldn't off officiate one of our games for a while.

NickG is a shoe in for the job, he could use his posting history as his CV.

Surly this one is more appropriate to Jamie's skills. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/vacancy-chef-de-partie-1364822.aspx

Are you Keith Granger or Shane Wheeler? -
What did the 6 Finish beauties you and the Dubai golfing saints met in the golf bar just before the game make of our performance? Despite being fans of HJK Helsinki, did they know all about Tim sparv, down beers, know all the words to the Guly song and did you all spend the rest of the night bemoaning our team selection, sloppy performance in between renditions of ole, ole, Guly, Guly?

Why 2013-2014 season is great for us Saints fans.
Turkish replied to Dr. Kucho's topic in The Saints
It's been a good season, not a great season. It's been a season of progress where we have established ourselves as a solid premier league club. We've played some lovely football, players have got international recognition and there have been some great performances. However it wont be remembered as a great season. The season was effectively over by mid february. What are we playing for now? MP has said he doens't want to play in the Europa league so we aren't aiming to qualify for Europe, we obviously wont make the champions league and wont be in a relegation battle. It seems we are playing to finish just below the European places, so 7th or 8th. What could have been a great season has turned into a bit of an anti climax due to our meek exit in both cups. Even a semi final we could have looked back on as being a season where we nearly achieved something great. Some of us were shouted down for the proposterious idea that we should have gone all out to win the league cup, we were told it was a good thing we played a weakened team at Sunderland in the League cup because injuries there would derail our season. As it turned out we're exactly where some of us said we'd be and instead of potentially looking forward to a comfortbale league finish and an extended cup run keeping the dream of glory alive we're left with two and a half months of playing it out with Newcastle to finish just outside the European spots.
