  1. That when I said we'd fielded a weakened team and you Immediately started banging your 'this is when we play the untested kids' drum I should have pointed out then we'd only played one? Fair point I guess would have saved you a lot of embarrassment
  2. He's a one ain't he, a none stop lolathon when trousers is about.
  3. So it's taken you about 15 posts, a succession of straw man arguments, backtracking quicker than an Italian tank and getting yourself tied up in knots to make your point. Well done you.
  4. Do Groundhog Day!
  5. There Are two reasons why I appear superior to most of you. The first one is because I am, the second one is because most of you talk complete and utter bol*ocks. I hope this helps.
  6. Expect you didn't did you. You got quite upset and indignant that the league cup was she we should be playing our youth and then when it was pur to you we'd only played one debutant on Wednesday came out with the stuff you're coming out with now. I agree with much of what you've said later on, it was the first bit that was a load of bol*ocks, but you realised that yourself didn't you sunshine.
  7. When i said we played a weakened team you jumped down my throat saying that I wanted my cake and eat it and when else where we meant to play the kids, when it turned out that only one had actually made their debut on Wednesday you started all the back tracking you are doing now. FWIW I agree it is the right place to bring them in, but I'd surround a couple of them with good senior pros rather than the likes of Hooliveld, Lee and Fox who should only play if their is no one else fit in the entire squad.
  8. It'll be tight, their away record on paper looks poor with 4 defeats from 5, but when you consider those defeats came at Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Spurs, then it's not as bad as it looks due to them having 4 very difficult away games out of their first 5, we'd probably expect no more than a point or two from those. They don't score many only 8 but don't concede many either, 10 overall, 7 away from home so if we can keep a clean sheet we should win this and 1-0 is my prediction.
  9. You made out earlier they were complete Rookies, they weren't. chambers has already made several premier league starts, Reed was the only untried youngster we blooded, unless you want to call Gallagher's little run out at the end that too. You made out at the start we were practically playing a youth team, we weren't.
  10. Maybe that's why we didn't play all the kids like at Sunderland like you claimed we did at the start of this discussion?
  11. But you started banging on just now about how else do we blood our young players if we don't use the league cup? Well theres your answer, we aren't using the league cup, not like you make out we are anyway.
  12. So we agree then, Wednesday night wasn't the grand promotion of all our promising youngsters to first team glory that you made it out to be. It was ONE of them making their debut surrounded by other senior pros not good enough. What was that you were saying about straw mans arguements?
  13. Who has said we will be relegated?
  14. For the record I've predicted 9th. 'Lucky to stay up' Some utter helmets on here.
  15. And if we don't qualify for the champions league will you, Nick G and the rest of the Imbicles that talk non stop boll+cks never post again?
  16. So the actual learning experience and the opportunity to blood all the kids that you claimed it was was a load of horse sh*t then. One had already made several first team starts this season in the league so we only had one true debutant. The rest of the team were experienced players not good enough, perhaps we should play them in the league instead?
  17. Tsk CB, Chambers had the benefit of 6 minutes as a sub against Stevenage in the same game Shaw made his debut, they both learnt all they needed to that night.
  18. You seem to want to have your cake and eat it sunshine. One minute me saying we should have played a strong side on Wednesday night to win the cup which you equated to me saying playing young players don't matter now and they won't make the first team if we don't now you're saying, well it only helps a bit. See you can't answer how much Luke Shaw benefited from playing against Stevenage last season, so Which one is it? You seem to be struggle, must be all those straw mans arguments confusing you.
  19. If you're wondering who I am look no further than the mirror.
  20. I think he wants his cake and eat it.
  21. More brilliant mboardery. If we don't play them in the league cup they'll never make the first team. If we play them in the league cup they are guaranteed to be first team players due to the experience. So is Shaw only in the team because he played 90 minutes against Stevenage last season?
  22. Don't worry about that, 4th place is inevitable now we're out of the league cup.
  23. Luke Shaw is only in the side because he played against Stevenage last season.
