  1. Ahh so what you're saying is he didn't chose us over them for our league position. Glad you've finally realised!
  2. Ha ha ha! Excellent try, when all else fails try and patronise. The last haymaker for the mongboarder who has been battered senseless and on the ropes. Night night sunshine.
  3. Ahh so saints fed the stories to the papers! Did they also tell Ramirez agent what to say to the papers as well when he turned down spurs?
  4. There are direct quote from agents there. What do you want? A copy of the offer from Liverpool to bologna and Molde? Just admit it you've made yourself look stupid again just like your shots on goal nonsense.
  5. Ahh right so the offers didn't exist, it was all talk from someone with a motivation to make it appear that spurs and Liverpool wanted them. The back slapping on here about us beating Liverpool to players was all bulls*it then, glad we cleared that up.
  6. I've provided links. Of course this might be just lazy, lying scumbag journos, it's difficult to know on this mongboard which stories we believe and the ones we don't.
  7. Sure. Spurs as as well for Ramirez http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-target-gaston-ramirez-turns-1260256 http://metro.co.uk/2012/08/17/gaston-ramirez-snubs-spurs-and-liverpool-to-sign-for-southampton-540202/ http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/vegard-forren-to-liverpool-norwegian-defender-1534344 Now what was that about only signing due to league position?
  8. Please explain.
  9. So why did Ramirez and forren chose is over Liverpool?
  10. But it's nonsense as it isn't a real choice. Surely the aim for every club, manager and Player is to win every game which by default means that you should try and win every completion you enter.
  11. You're weird and haven't even read the thread properly. Go on have a go, see what I said about how seriously we should take this completion. You might also learn which player I was saying I was right about, here a clue, it ain't Ramirez.
  12. But it isn't a choice is it. The premier league haven't given us one or the other, it's not either or is it.
  13. Well I've be proven right (again) haven't i.
  14. You really do have a huge sense of self importance don't you. Such a superiority complex.
  15. Quite. I remember saying when we got promoted that he want good enough and got a torrent of abuse. Some said he was going to be a massive player for us and one of the funniest things I've ever seen was someone say that he was class and that his running and movement are brilliant, we just don't have the players good enough to pick him out, although this was only topped by Vectis Saint saying I didn't like him because he is Japanese and I must be racist! Simple fact is he his a million miles away from a premier league player and that has been blindingly obvious to anyone who knows even the tiniest bit about football.
  16. As I've said dozen times, he's not any where near good enough.
  17. He looked excellent against Barnsley. Strange to think what is effectively a second string still cost c£30m.
  18. I looked into leasing and I do too many miles to qualify, if you do 10-15,000 then its not a bad option. Most of the guys at our place, myself included have got BMWs or Audis with our allowance, got them with about 50k on for about £10k and run them for about another 100k before chopping them in. Done 40k in mine and two services, a new set of brake pads and a new set of tyres are the only costs so far, so with the higher tax code, car allowance and fuel allowance I'm well up in terms of money in v maintenance costs. I'd really like an new/nearly new A5 but not really much point spending £25k on a car that will be worth 10% of that once I've racked up the miles on it so a few years old and second hand does seem to be the most efficient way of doing it.
  19. Yes and I've answered you, its pretty unlikely they we were the only club to misunderstand what it was for. And if there was any doubt we could have looked st what the others were doing, t was reported a month ago in the link above.
  20. Why? And why are you aiming it at me?
  21. Pretty unlikely don't you think?
  22. Out of all 20 premier league clubs we are the only ones that misunderstood it?
  23. I'm not sure what some are struggling to cope with about this. All this talk of the club losing revenue and slashing prices. They won't, it won't cost them a penny, they've been GIVEN £200k to encourage away fans. If they gave 3,000 aways fans free tickets and travel and it costs £190k the club haven't lost £190k they've actually lost nothing and still have £10k over. It really isn't difficult to work out. Anyway IMO they should either have given reduced tickets and free travel to an unattractive game like Hull or at the end of the season given away fans that had been to x amount of games free tickets as a reward for their support. People will say our away support is selling out anyway, well in that case reward those that are doing it. And just to reiterate the club won't lose a penny doing this.
  24. Blade hand dryers in the away fans bogs. Its happening!
  25. It's about quality in all we do yes? making the visit to SMS a pleasurable experience to fans not so fortunate as to be followed of Southampton is a great and noble gesture from our glorious leader.
