The fact is though that you just don't know how a kid will fit in to the first team, like Shaw they might slot in straight away, but there are countless other examples where that doesn't happen and they need a bit more time. It seems the club weren't overly confident either otherwise we wouldn't have been trying to sign Buttner is the first place.
