Agreed. Look at this thread. All going fine until someone didn't like being questioned on a post and flounced off like a pre menstrual 14 year old. then everyone else jumps in going on about how bad the forum is now and blaming everyone else.
-
What was insulting about it Colin? The fella said he had to put up with a Birmingham fan telling him the whole game why they were such a bigger club than us, a Birmingham fan! I thought all the good posters already had left anyway? Although it's good to see you are the self appointed guardian of mongboard decency and decorum!
-
That's all you had to say, no reason to get shirty and flounce off in a rage.
-
I don't think he did. At first I thought it was a bit lucky but when you see it from the behind the goal you can clearly see he meant to do a powerful downward header, I think it was a great finish personally.
-
What did you do? Sit there like a nodding dog agreeing with everything he said? Quite how anyone would spend anymore than two minutes listening to a Birmingham fan telling them how much bigger they are than us without being able to sysmtematically destroy every point he could make says to me you dont have a clue about football either.

I'm Sure BTF Would Have Posted This, If She Had Seen It.

Leave her alone guys. I respect BTF as a fellow poster as she uses football forums for the main purposes they were invented for. As well as never talking about football it's other main use is that of constantly reminding people you have never met what a great, popular, caring and open minded person you are. -
A lot would have to go right for us to do that. We'd need all of our key players to be fit and in form for the entire season. We'd need Man United to continue to massively under perform, which they won't do. As things stand despite your sneering at how unimpressive Liverpool and Spurs have been, they both currently sit above us, this despite us being amazing and spurs not being impressive and Liverpool supposedly losing to everyone in sight of the top half. Of course its not impossible for it to happen, as mentioned Newcastle did it a couple of years back and Villa did it 3 years in a row, but there is a lot that would need to go right for us and wrong for the others for it to happen. I keep reading no one can think of a reason why we can't. Well how about people start giving a few reasons why we can
-
Do you think one from those six will win the title and 3 others will qualify for the champions league? Let's flip this, can you give the reason why you think we will be in the mix, rather than not being able to think why we won't be.
-
Ridiculous and sad that some people are claiming not to be bothered about is having a crack at winning a major trophy. It seems some people would consider 8th In the league a better season than finishing 9th in the league and winning this trophy. Odd.
-
So you think we will finish above Man United and Man City?

Sue Whistle - Plays football and lived in Italy, has me on ignore Dull Drums - Chef in the Navy. Thinks he's Steven segal in Under Siege. Franks Cousin - the mongboard version of Rowley Birkley QC from the Fast Show
-
Which one out of these 6 are we going to finish about to get into the top 6. Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man United, Tottenham and Liverpool?
-
I would say arrogance is saying things like Stoke, a team who finished above us last season and we have failed to beat in 3 attempts, who were in the FA cup final and Europe only a couple of seasons ago, got a great point and it was a superb result for them by somehow managing to hold us to a draw at home yesterday.
-
True. Barry and a couple of others have called it right, but Garret and Johnnyboys posts sum up the arrogance on here. When they've already drawn at home with man city this season describing a point at home to us as a great point for them is incredibly arrogant.

Maybe i should go on about how great i am, my huge circle of friends, my amazing family and what an all round great guy i am whilst at the same time being patronising to everyone else, yes?
-
Good shout. They should do it like X factor. You'd get the popular vote with all your hard luck stories from your massive circle of friends. Turn the tears on you might even win it.
-
Why have they been giving banning orders it was nothing to so with football.
-
Is he really any better than Yoshida?

If it were me and I was out of work and couldn't afford to get the bus to the job centre every day, I wouldn't be too chuffed if my so called mate was discussing it on an Internet forum with strangers in an attempt to point score and be seen as a lovely, caring person to people who she's never met or ever likely too. Just saying.

But the people in your area prefer the Tories or lib dems to labour. Maybe you're the odd one pal.
-
Ahh okay I get it. Your mates hard luck stories are made up for a 'whatifery' scenario. On another note Does your large circle of friends know you are sharing their personal information with a group of anonymous strangers on an Internet forum?
-
So you're saying old labour was so poor they copied some of the Tories policies?
