Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
Turkish replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
But you said that a manager is unrealistic if he is unavailable and by your own definition every employed manager is currently unavailalbe to us, therefore when we are discussing targets we can only discuss unemployed managers at this stage, because every employed one is currently unavailable so therefore unrealistic, all by your own defiinition. -
Dont be jealous princess, i didnt mean to cheat on you. I've watched from afar as your relationship with Bearsy has grown and now he's be relegated to a registered poster i feel i can steal you.

So you've answered your own post then, as by your own definition, every manager currently employed is currently unavailable. -

So until we make an approach which is permitted they are unavailable? -

It would be is they were currently unavailable but a realistic target, but if we approached them and they were interested, they would become available. It's really basic stuff. Do you consider employed managers, available or unavailable? -

Why are you being a knob and splitting hairs about what realistic and unavailable means? Doug Freedman, for example, is a realistic target, but would currently be considered unavailable. No? -

Ranieri would be perfect, can't see him league Monaco for a relegation scrap though. -
Quite. No one would think megasolentCity containing Boruc, Clyne, Rodriguez, Davis etc would get battered at West Ham after drawing their last season.

Bore off you weirdo. Obviously Guardiola is available, do you think he is realistic? Let's be right lemons about this and break it down for you. Realistic and employed or realistic and unemployed. Simple enough? -

Okay then what realistic unavailable targets are there that could do better? -
And none of those teams had Caeser, Bosingwa, Hoilett, Cisse, Tarabit playing for them, so what's your point?

It's quite disturbing how much and how many of my comments you remember.

No need for sarcasm. He has a point, name one manager available and realistic who has better credentials. -
How does he like his sausages Jamie?

We've been through this before and that is nonsense. His net spend at Spirs was something like £10m and they finished 4th 5th and 4th. Compare that to Martin O'Neill at Villa who had a net spend of over £60m for 3 consecutive 6th placed finishes. It'd a myth people peddle to prove Redknapp isn't a very capable manager. Name one club that has broken into and finished in the top 4 or 5 consistently that hasn't spent money. -

Why is it trolling that I disagree that Harry Redknapp isn't a crap manager and point out some FACtS to support this? Just, because you dont like it doesn't make it untrue. Unless now anyone that disagree with anything is a troll in the eyes of the forum police. There are a dozen reasons why Redknapp should not be Saints manager, because He's crap isn't one of them. -

Apart from the FA cup win you mean? -
Deep V, tight fitting t-shirts, with chinos and mong shoes, always worn with gelled hair and a sunbed tan. Or as its commonly known 'the Take Me Out'
-
David Hughes was a class player and would have been great but for his injuries.

Did you ever play away at Mayfield in Portsmouth? We played them twice, once down there in the Hants Cup, then the following year in the Final. Sh*thole school full of typical gobby Skates and i used to have a right battle with a lad who played for them, came out on top both times of course. We beat the 3-2 down there, then 5-0 in the cup final. We also played a Hants cup final against a school from Portsmouth whose name escapes me, we won 2-0, all i remember out them was that they had they had a quality player in centre midfield with ginger hair. About 15 years later our paths crossed again due to football, where we eneded up chatting and getting on very well after realised that we had played against each other all those years ago and him being a skate and me a Saint. Strangely he remembered me as well, although as "one of the two big lads at the back that won everything"

yep fully agree with this. Also chinos or jeans with elasticated bottoms worn with espadrilles (no socks) or high top mong shoes. lets hear it for bulb fashionists..

I remember Bywater and Perkins from city trials. I played for Southampton schools east in a tournement and had city trials but never got it. I ended up playing left back in the tournment and trials depsite my usual position being centre half or centre mid for my tyro side, the reason being simply because i had "a good left foot". My school was the best side of the time, we won the Hants cup 3 years out of 4 and the City league and cup every year. We went unbeaten for about 3 years. We had some great players, 4 played for Hants and we had a few on Saints and Pompeys books, even the ones that weren't were all very decent footballers.
